            Head 3d rotation and position with MLKit PoseDetection

            I'm using the Pose Detection, and I tried to use the facial landmarks to calculate the 3d head position and rotation. But as said in MLKit's PoseDetection documentation, the z position for the face landmarks should be ignored.

            So I would like to know if there is another way to obtain the head rotation and position from the data that the Pose Detection gives us.

            Head rotation is not available in the Pose detection feature today, but you can get the head rotation info from ML Kit face detection APIs. See https://developers.google.com/android/reference/com/google/mlkit/vision/face/Face#public-method-summary, which provides HeadEulerAngleX/Y/Z()

            So I tried the methods that were mentioned in the previously asked similar question but none of them works for my python file. I have been on it for two days and can't seem to find a solution how to run this file from C# form on button click.

            IronPython doesn't work because the python script has libraries that cannot be imported in Ironpython.

            Running it from cmd doesn't work because cmd starts and then gets closed in a second.

            I don't know of anything that would work out-of-the-box that handles mapping ordinal values (VERY_UNLIKELY, ..., VERY_LIKELY) to integers in a user-defined way while also handling possible keys in dictionaries.

            It's not possible to run Amazon Rekognition's logic locally on your device.

            Detecting blinks of a horse from side view with opencv

            This is rather a theoretical question than asking for specific code issue.

            I have done a bit of facial landmark detection using Haar Cascades, but this time I have a different type of video on my hands. It's a side view of a horse's eye (camera is mounted to the side of the head) so essentially what I see is a giant eye. I tried using Haar Cascades but it's no use, since there is no face to be detected in my video.

            I was wondering what the best way to detect the eye and blinks would be on this horse? Do I try and customize a dlib facial mark detector? I didn't find much information on animal landmarks.

            I used an object tracker to continue locating the eye after drawing a bounding box around it on the first frame.

            I created a set width and height bounding box since we can roughly assume that the eye isn't growing or shrinking relative to the camera. When drawing the bounding box for the tracker, we have to include more than just the eye since it would otherwise lose track of the object whenever they blink.

            I looked for whether the saturation of the bounded area dropped below a threshold in each frame as a check for whether or not they blinked. The blue box is the bounding box returned by the tracker, the green box is the area I'm cropping and checking the saturation level of.

            Input error concatenating two CNN branches

            I'm trying to implement a 3D facial recognition algorithm using CNNs with multiple classes. I have an image generator for rgb images, and an image generator for depth images (grayscale). As I have two distinct inputs, I made two different CNN models, one with shape=(height, width, 3) and another with shape=(height, width, 1). Independently I can fit the models with its respective image generator, but after concatenating the two branches and merging both image generators, I got this warning and error:

            WARNING:tensorflow:Model was constructed with shape (None, 400, 400, 1) for input KerasTensor(type_spec=TensorSpec(shape=(None, 400, 400, 1), dtype=tf.float32, name='Depth_Input_input'), name='Depth_Input_input', description="created by layer 'Depth_Input_input'"), but it was called on an input with incompatible shape (None, None)

            The problem was with the union of the generators in the function gen_flow_for_two_inputs(X1, X2). The correct form is yield [X1i[0], X2i[0]], X1i[1] instead of yield [X1i[0], X2i[1]], X1i[1] (paraphrased from sergio_baixo)
