There are two problems with your expr:

            1. You use literal match operator (=) instead of regex match (=~).
            2. You need to put the list inside parentheses, otherwise \\.service applies only to the last item.

Dataproc VM memory and local disk usage metrics
            Asked 2021-Jul-20 at 18:35

I'm trying to monitor local disk usage (percentage) on Dataproc 2.0 using cloud metrics. This would be useful for monitoring situations where Spark temporary files fill up disk.

By default Dataproc seems to send only local disk performance metrics, CPU etc.. metrics and cluster level HDFS metrics but not local disk usage.

There seems to be a stackdriver agent installed on the Dataproc image but it is not running so apparently Dataproc uses a different way of collecting metrics. I checked that df plugin is enabled in /etc/stackdriver/collectd.conf. However, starting the agent fails:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jul-16 at 06:30

Google Cloud Monitoring Agent is installed in Dataproc cluster VMs, but disabled by default.

Adding --properties dataproc:dataproc.monitoring.stackdriver.enable=true when creating the cluster will enable it. The agent collects guest OS metrics including memory and disk usage, so you can view them in Cloud Metrics. See the property in this doc.

BTW, the reason why CPU usage is collected by default and doesn't depend on the agent is that, it is collected by GCE from the VM host. But for memory and local disk usage, VM host doesn't have knowledge about them, they have to be collected from inside the guest OS, hence it depends on the agent. When you enable the agent, there will be two CPU usage metrics with different types, one (compute) is from the VM host perspective, the other (agent) is from the guest OS perspective.

How to add nested data into MySQL tables using PHP
            Asked 2021-Jul-07 at 07:15

I have 3 tables and I'm working with wordpress too: wp7s_g_bookings, wp7s_g_tests and wp7s_g_clients. This is a study project, not to sell.

I want to be able to save 1 booking with X clients and Y tests.

I read about LAST_INSERT_ID() but I don't think it will work in this case and I'm lost.

            Possible scenarios:

            1. You are a partner, then the data is beeing pulled, so we have the ID because it exist already; In this case we are adding other users data inside repeatable fields like name="client_birth[]" ... // client_vat only show/exist if the partner don't exist.
            2. You are a normal client, in this case you fill the same client data plus client_vat (so I'm sure when adding into database that only the guy that have client_vat is the booking_client)

After you perform a query with $wpdb you can access the $wpdb->insert_id to get the last inserted id. You can find more details on the documentation page of wpdb

If you need more ids because u have more $wpdb->insert all you need to do is store $wpdb->insert_id after each insert, like:

Yocto bitbake build error when adding fftw package
            Asked 2020-Nov-03 at 10:43

I am using Yocto Warrior release to build linux for Dart-imx8m SOM. Documentation can be found here : https://variwiki.com/index.php?title=DART-MX8M_Yocto&release=RELEASE_WARRIOR_V1.1_DART-MX8M.

I want to add fftw package whose recipe is in meta-oe layer. Whenever I add this package in my local.conf file, I get an error with bitbake regarding a dnf related task.

I add the package like this in my local.conf file : IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " fftw"

I get the following error when building image with bitbake fsl-image-gui :

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Nov-02 at 21:11

The fftw recipe is set up to create a few different packages (RPM) like libfftw, libfftwl, libfftwf, fftw-wisdom, fftwl-wisdom, fftwf-wisdom, and fftw-wisdom-to-conf. You probably want to add one or more of those. It seems there is no actual fftw package.

It is important to remember that IMAGE_INSTALL and RDEPEND lists items from the package namespace, while DEPENDS lists items from the recipe namespace.

If you are unsure about which package you want to install you can inspect the packages-split folder for fftw in tmp/work to see which files are included in which package.

It looks to me like you're not correctly calling your set state hook. It's defined (per your comment) as setLotsResult. However, in your code, it appears you are invoking SetLotsResult(newData).

Note the discrepancy in capitalization. They should match.

Index time tokens(generated from indexed docs) should match the search time tokens(generated from search terms) and in your case its not happening thats the cause of result not coming for your search query.

Please share your mapping so that I can pinpoint the exact issue and suggest a solution.

Unable to calculate the ratio of two metrics in Prometheus
            Asked 2020-Jul-24 at 17:49

I am collecting ZFS metrics in Prometheus v.2.19 from Linux servers using ZFS Exporter. The data is being collected from all targets and the values are correct, however there is this strange issue: I want to calculate the percentage of the ratio of ARC misses vs. ARC hits, so I use the following formula:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Jul-24 at 17:49

Prometheus divides one metric by another only if all the labels with their values for both metrics are identical. In this case metrics on the left side of / have label {stat='misses'}, while metrics on the right side have different value for stat label: {stat='hits'}. Prometheus provides ignoring and on operations, which may be applied to any binary operator (i.e. /, +, -, etc.). See the corresponding docs for details.

So in you case you must tell Prometheus to ignore stat label when performing calculations:
