Svelte lag while dragging two elements from two different components at the same time
            Asked 2021-May-23 at 18:52

I’ve been trying to build a simple svg editor to try out svelte. Its been going great until I built a select box for the element to drag along with the active selected element. While dragging that selected element the selection box lags behind the element itself. I’m not sure whats wrong.

I’ve tried a few things like using the store to pass location data and putting events on a parent element so everything calculates on the same component in case that might be the issue but still it doesn’t work. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while but don’t have any idea what might be the issue.

How to get canvas onmousemove handler to see latest React state hook value?
            Asked 2021-Apr-22 at 00:23

I'm coding a super basic canvas-based image viewer. I'm trying to implement image panning. I want to be able to hold my mouse button down and move the mouse to pan the image around. I'm using the mouse up and down events to enter and leave a "panning mode". My mouse move handler never seems to see that the panning boolean changes from false to true, though.

I've tried writing my functions as arrow functions instead, thinking maybe it was something to do with the fact that these are DOM handlers (issues with this or something), but that didn't seem to make any difference.

I have a heads-up display that shows the panning state and it updates accordingly, but my console logs within the mouse move handler always show the variable as false.

How can I get this panning boolean value to update as you'd expect within my mouse move handler?

Your class that suppose to control movement should implement InputProcessor interface.

            https://libgdx.badlogicgames.com/ci/nightlies/docs/api/com/badlogic/gdx/InputProcessor.html

Basically, you have to provide methods which will be called when screen touching or dragging happens.

You'll get, as those methods parameters values of i.e. where touch happened, how much user dragged his finger and stuff line that.

Don't forget to set your new input processor class with

You cannot set z-index direcly on your zoom component, since it's at a deeper level in the DOM than the text. You need to set the z-index higher up in the DOM.

I just set it in the col-md-5 container

There won't be any difference event though testing it on a real physical device.

This is because Xcode 11.4 introduced a new protocol member to UIGestureRecognizerDelegate and our initial proposed default value for ShouldReceiveEvent is not playing well with the world.

Our product team has fixed this in Xamarin.iOS 13.16.0.13: https://github.com/xamarin/Xamarin.Forms/issues/10162#issuecomment-607585466 You could manually download and install the pkg on the Mac. But VS on Windows has released a new version now we can only temporarily develop it using VS for Mac after installing the new Xamarin iOS version.

Kofax "edit table header" not allowing second page navigation of a single document
            Asked 2020-Mar-16 at 16:33

It has been more than a week, i have tried almost all option on Kofax Total Agility 7.6 "Transformation Designer"

            I have a requirement of:

            • Locating and Extracting the table content of a document(English or French)

To be able to do that i follow steps:

            1. Open "Transformation Designer"
            2. Created an extraction project, attached a sample document (having 5 pages)
            3. Navigate to project settings->Table tab
            4. Trying to create new "table header pack"
When i am trying to train system for header and non header lines, i am unable to navigate from pages of a same document, the image-viewer screen is showing only first page of a selected document and there is no next page button/navigation, only next document button/navigation is available.

Note: All training material covers only single page document where extraction is quite straight forward

Exact question is How should someone train "table header pack" when table is on the second or third page of a document

            Any help?

How to auto resize QVBoxLayout according to its child contents inside a QScrollArea?
            Asked 2020-Feb-25 at 09:50

Recently, I am trying to use PyQT5 to make a PDF viewer. I adapted the code provided in this post (Image Viewer GUI fails to properly map coordinates for mouse press event). I created a QScrollArea that contains a QVBoxLayout in order to dynamically add multiple QLables into the scroll area. Then I will load the PDF pages as QImage (pixmap) into each individual QLabel. I have successfully loaded and display the PDF pages in the QLabels. However, I encountered a problem. The QLabel in the vertical layout with the PDF page images cannot expand to show the whole page (according to the size of QImage pixmap). So the outcome of using this way will be only showing a small part of page. I cannot scroll down all the page as well. I expected that the PDF pages can be loaded into QLabels and well expanded according to the contents. Then, the Qlabels can vertically grouped in the layout. The layout can auto expand and resize according to the QLable. Finally, I can scroll down the scrollArea to read all the PDF pages. Just like other PDF reader does.

Additionally, how can I capture the mouse position in each QLabel? Ultimately, I want to let the user to click on the specific location on the page to add the text on that position. After I got the coordinates from the QLabel and specific page number, I will pass the information to PyMuPDF to write the text to textBox and export a PDF file.

Do not use QScrollArea + QLabel as it complicates the task a lot, instead it is better to use QGraphicsView, QGraphicsScene and items. Based on my previous answer and implemented the following logic, I have also created the clicked signal that carries the information of the pressed page and the position of the click on the page:

Bootstrap 4 button group, button text width extends outside of button boundary
            Asked 2019-Dec-03 at 08:03

I've created a simple radio button group per the BS4 documentation example, but whenever I select a button, I can't help but notice that the active button border juts out a bit on the right side. From what I can tell, it seems like it's trying to make room for "extra" blank space to the right of the button's input text.

This same "jutting out" to the right occurs on all buttons selected within the group, not just the center button.
