I'm working on a fun random ICAO translator program and I'm almost done with it but I'm having one little problem. How do I go about splitting a string by each character? For example the output I want is; The word mike translated in the ICAO alphabet is:

m: Mike

i: Indiana

k: Kilo

e: Echo

So far I just get; The word mike translated in the ICAO alphabet is:

Mike

Indiana

Kilo

Echo

Apparently my post is mostly code and I must add more detail so I'm adding this sentence to hopefully satisfy the requirements. Also the translation should be right on top of each other and not one extra space down. I'm having problems with that and idk how to fix that.

I am working to develop a network graph that shows the data flow between systems. The network is still being built out, but the goal is to visualize the data flows. In the example below, you can see the Source system, Target system and Payload item. The nulls are purposeful, as portions of the network are still under construction. I would like to be able to capture disconnected nodes (i.e. Source system Charlie) and incomplete data flows (i.e. Source system Foxtrot and Target system Delta).

You can remove the empty string node from the graph using

G.remove_node('')

This also removes the edges from the empty string node.

Now the nodes Delta and Foxtrot are disconnected.

I don't think that using explicit joins will help you, since PostgreSQL converts NOT EXISTS into an anti-join anyway.

But you spotted the problem: it is the OR. I would recommend that you use a dynamic query: add the cindition only if mikeis not NULL rather than having a static query with OR.

There are two instances of Foreach in Powershell. One is a keyword, and the other is an alias for Foreach-object. The easiest way to loop through a csv file is to import-csv, send the result through the pipeline, and use Foreach-Object to introduce the loop. The special symbol "%" is also shorthand for Foreach-Object.

I am using D3 library which is new to me, with D3 visualizing a directed graph based on the graph details. As I have huge data, it's difficult to picture everything on a single page.

I am trying to filter the node with its inward & outwards dependencies by adding a dropdown option but I am stuck, not sure how to proceed.

Below is something I am trying to achieve. For example, Beta node is dependent on gamma but likewise Alpha and Delta are dependent on Beta. The below graph focuses more on Beta node and its inwards & outward dependencies.
