QUESTION
Git command-line message when running for the first time
Asked 2017-Jun-26 at 15:46
Every time I try to do anything with git
on command-line for after launching terminal, I get a wall of messages I don't really know what they mean.
ANSWER
Answered 2017-Jun-26 at 15:46I think I fixed it by deleting all plug-ins, which makes sense as Xcode does not allow 3rd party plug-ins anymore. This command fixed it:
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Developer/Shared/Xcode/Plug-ins/*

Add the build UUIDs for the versions of Xcode you wish to support to DVTPlugInCompatibilityUUIDs in CocoaPodUI-Info.plist. This UUID can be found by running command in Terminal:. See template project at https://github.com/kattrali/Xcode-Plugin-Template.
