QUESTION
I'm using JNA
. The Pointer
class represents a native pointer. It seems quite common to access the pointer's address which seems to be the peer
member variable. However, they made sure you can't query it. Why? What's the recommended way to getting it if you want to work with it?
I wrote the following "hack":

Answered 2018-Aug-13 at 18:26Make a subclass of Pointer
and you can do whatever you'd like with the protected field.
Generally, you shouldn't access the value directly, the intent of making the field protected is exactly to make it hard to make such mistakes inadvertently.
QUESTION
I want to use the Java reflection calls private method and fields.Below is my code:
...ANSWER
Answered 2017-Jan-17 at 07:23You should set the color before testing it. That's why the second code snippet doesn't do what you expect. You can't use a value for a field before having set it correctly, so you shouldn't invoke a method using it before you have chosen it.

Install JavaReflect
You can use JavaReflect like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the JavaReflect component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
