We would need more information to narrow down if this is an issue in R8 or case of missing keep rules. If you file a bug report on R8, including information that could help us investigate, such as your APK if possible, we will do our best to help you out!

Install Android-Link-Preview
You can use Android-Link-Preview like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the Android-Link-Preview component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
