QUESTION
I have two v4 Fragments in one v7 AppCompatActivity. One fragmet has AppCompatImageButton, the other AppCompatButton. The first one inflates just fine, the other fails with a cryptic error
...ANSWER
Answered 2017-Apr-04 at 20:59OK, solved. The problem was with the android:textColor="@color/colorText"
.
colorText
was defined as a reference ?android:attr/colorPrimary
. Once I defined it explicitly, the problem went away.

Install tindroid
You can use tindroid like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the tindroid component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
