QUESTION
I am working on an app, I posted last update on git 2 days ago and haven't touched the code since. Now, I opened android studio and it was giving me this error when I tried to run it... I tried deleting repository from my computer and then cloning it again but it didn't work. I have also tried searching for similar problems, and found out there was a similar problem with speed-dial package and one comment said something about broken package versions. Anyways, this is the error I am getting after I try running my app:
These are first few lines of the error it's giving me, but there is more than a thousand lines following these.
I also tried running flutter doctor and it gave me the following:

QUESTION
Dart SDK officially supports ARM64 and as of now, 2.14.2 is the latest (stable) Dart SDK that has support for ARM64. Though it was the same version that was bundled in my Flutter setup, it seemed to run on Intel architecture (Activity monitor shows dart processes running on Intel).
I manually tried replacing the dart SDK on my flutter installation bu replacing flutter-directory/bin/cache/dart-sdk/
with the contents of a zip file of the Dart SDK made for ARM64, downloaded from dart.dev archive. But trying to run an app on an Android emulator (which runs on ARM64 and was working on my old Flutter setup), throws this error:
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Sep-29 at 17:46It seems it can't be used with Flutter yet, as seen in:
Apple Silicon support in the Dart SDK
[...] Note that the Dart SDK bundled in the Flutter SDK doesn’t have these improvements yet.

And:
Get the Dart SDK
[...] As of Flutter 1.21, the Flutter SDK includes the full Dart SDK. So if you have Flutter installed, you might not need to explicitly download the Dart SDK. Consider downloading the Dart SDK if any of the following are true:
- You don’t use Flutter.
- You use a pre-1.21 version of Flutter.
- You want to reduce disk space requirements or download time, and your use case doesn’t require Flutter. For example, you might have a continuous integration (CI) setup that requires Dart but not Flutter.

I've just updated my flutter project packages to be null-safety compliant and now Android Studio wants me to update my project to use the latest version of Kotling Gradle Plugin. Can't see where to change this though. I have tried to change "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-stdlib-jdk7:$kotlin_version"

Recently i created a flutter project and open the "YAML" ,getting some error from "YAML" extension , How can i solve this , is the only solution uninstall the extension or how to overcome this without uninstalling this extension
tried flutter clean , repair etc..... but nothing was helpful ,
getting error are
1 Incorrect type. Expected "string".yaml-schema: pubspec.yaml
2 Property flutter is not allowed.yaml-schema: pubspec.yaml
3 Property cupertino_icons is not allowed.yaml-schema: pubspec.yaml
4 Property flutter_test is not allowed.yaml-schema: pubspec.yaml
5 ect........
using flutter version is 2.8.1
"YAML"(extension) version v1.5.0
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-07 at 14:20The YAML extension is using an incorrect schema to validate your YAML file. Ensure that:
- your file does contain a correct
# yaml-language-server: $schema=
comment or at least does not contain a wrong one. - your
yaml.schemas
setting does not associate your file via glob pattern with an incorrect schema.
The correct schema would be https://json.schemastore.org/pubspec.json
. See also Associating Schemas.

ANSWER
Answered 2021-Sep-09 at 02:50You have to manually install java on your PC but install the JRE(Java Runtime Environment) not the JDK (Java Development Kit). The JRE comes packed with all you'll need for flutter.
I think the one AS comes with is the JDK not the JRE
