            The same problem happened to me once, please make sure that the wayland-protocols dependency name in your meson.build is same in the meson.build in the protocols folder

            Eg: if you have defined your dependency like this:

            meson.build in src directory (or your source directory)

            Make sure to set Libraries in Project Settings: File -> Project Structure -> Libraries

            Make sure to use your output location here (location where your class files are generated)! It may vary depending on build system (target/classes or out/production, etc.)

            The classes you are missing are generated by ANTLR. You have an ANTLR grammar file in your repo from which those sources are generated. Like most plugins that are used in Maven builds, this is not transported to Gradle automatically but has to be done manually. Use the Gradle ANTLR plugin that is builtin to generate the sources from the grammar files.
