Why is number of hard links for a directory 2 + the number of subdirectories?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 20:37

When using ls -l, I noticed that directories start with 2 hard links, and gain one for each subdirectory. I understand that the current directory link . counts as one link and the parent directory link .. of each subdirectory counts as a hard link, but:

            1. Why don't subfiles count towards hard links when subdirectories do?

            2. Why does the parent directory link .. count as a hard link for both this directory and the parent directory?

You are referencing a FileInfo object when calling .startswith() and not a string.

The filename is a property of the FileInfo object, so filename.name.startswith('cop_ ') should work.

In my opinion, the CORE_VM_DOCKER_HOSTCONFIG_NETWORKMODE setting seems to be wrong.
you can check docker-compose.yaml or core.yaml

            1. docker-compose.yaml
            • I will explain fabric-samples/test-network as targeting according to your current situation.
            • You can check in CORE_VM_DOCKER_HOSTCONFIG_NETWORKMODE in docker-compose.yaml
            • Perhaps in your case(fabric-samples/test-network), the value of ${COMPOSE_PROJECT_NAME} was not set properly, so it was set to _test.
            • Make sure the value is set correctly and change it to your network name.

In R Shiny, why do my functions not work when using the render UI function but work fine when not using render UI?
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 22:51

When running the first "almost MWE" code immediately below, which uses conditional panels and a "renderUI" function in the server section, it only runs correctly when I comment out the 3rd line from the bottom, observeEvent(vector.final(periods(),yield_input()),{yield_vector.R <<- unique(vector.final(periods(),yield_input()))}). If I run the code with this line activated, it crashes and I get the error message Error in [: subscript out of bounds which per my research means it is trying to access an array out of its boundary.

I'm trying to create a multi-page pdf using FacetGrid from this (https://seaborn.pydata.org/examples/many_facets.html). There are 20 grids images and I want to save the first 10 grids in the first page of pdf and the second 10 grids to the second page of pdf file. I got the idea of create mutipage pdf file from this (Export huge seaborn chart into pdf with multiple pages). This example works on sns.catplot() but in my case (sns.FacetGrid) the output pdf file has two pages and each page has all of the 20 grids instead of dividing 10 grids in each page.
