How to make an axios get request on page load, then render a am4chart with that data?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 22:40

I have the wackiest bug. Like....the wackiest! If any of ya'll want to put eyes on this, awesomesauce! I really appriciate it! I am creating a survey with REACT, Redux, SQL, HML, Material-ui, and CSS.

I've created a graph of information with am4charts using data from a database. Everything is working and will show up on the page......but not on page load. What I am seeing in my console is that the page will load, it fires off my get request but doesn't return with the data fast enough (I think). By the time that the get request loads, my graph has populated with no data.

Here is the code that I have for the page that I am rendering. What is really odd is that, once my code has run, I can cut a line of code (I've been using a console log). And then the graph will render and load.

Join query in Spring Data JPA
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 16:12

            I have two tables:

            1. Car_company which has the attributes of: C_id (primary key), C_name
            2. Car_model which has the attributes of: Com_id (referenced to C_id of Car_company), Model_year Warranty

I wish to access both of these tables individually and also I would like to perform a join operation on them and display all of the car_models along with their car_company name. I tried using both JPQL and native query but nothing worked. I also made sure to use the OneToMany and ManyToOne associations but I ended up getting infinite nesting,i.e, the models have car_company as field, this inturn has car_models as a list, and this keeps going. Please help me with entity classes and DAOs.

SLURM and Python multiprocessing pool on a cluster
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 13:42

I am trying to run a simple parallel program on a SLURM cluster (4x raspberry Pi 3) but I have no success. I have been reading about it, but I just cannot get it to work. The problem is as follows:

I have a Python program named remove_duplicates_in_scraped_data.py. This program is executed on a single node (node=1xraspberry pi) and inside the program there is a multiprocessing loop section that looks something like:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 06:17

Pythons multiprocessing package is limited to shared memory parallelization. It spawns new processes that all have access to the main memory of a single machine.

You cannot simply scale out such a software onto multiple nodes. As the different machines do not have a shared memory that they can access.

To run your program on multiple nodes at once, you should have a look into MPI (Message Passing Interface). There is also a python package for that.

Depending on your task, it may also be suitable to run the program 4 times (so one job per node) and have it work on a subset of the data. It is often the simpler approach, but not always possible.

I had the same problem, man. I want to transplant tflite to the development board of CEVA. There is no problem in compiling. In the process of running, there is also an error in AddBuiltin(full_connect). At present, the only possible situation I guess is that some devices can not support tflite.

OpenAPI path/query parameters nested structure serialization
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 10:35

In the OpenAPI docs about parameter serialization there's a short section about how to serialize query, path, header and cookie parameters with different styles. The schema of these parameters are described as OpenAPI flavoured json schema, which allows infinite nesting of objects and arrays. I haven't found any mention about how to deal with these in the docs:

            https://swagger.io/docs/specification/serialization/

Let's assume the JSON schema provided for any of the parameters is like this:

            ...

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 10:35

            Short answer: It's undefined behavior.

Most OpenAPI serialization styles are based on RFC 6570, which provides guidance only for:

            • primitive values,
            • arrays of primitives,
            • simple non-nested objects (with primitive properties).

In case of other types of values (nested objects, objects containing arrays, nested arrays, arrays of objects) the behavior is undefined.

Similarly, OpenAPI's own deepObject style is currently defined only for simple objects but not for arrays or nested objects. Here are some related comments from the OpenAPI Specification authors/maintainers:

By the way, is there a reason we couldn't have deepObject work for arrays too? [...]

Darrel: Supporting arrays as you describe was my intent. I was supposed to find some canonical implementation to use as a guideline for the behavior, but didn't get around to it.

Ron: If we end up supporting the exploded array notation, it needs to be clear that the first index is 0 (or 1, or -1, or whatever).

            (source)

Ron: when we defined deepObject in the spec, we explicitly chose to not mention what happens when the object has several levels in it, but in our conversations we went with 'not supported'.

            (source)

There's an existing feature request to extend deepObject to support arrays and nested structures:
Support deep objects for query parameters with deepObject style

What is the recommended limit to be loaded at once into a FlatList?

And after that is it recommended to use an Infinite Scroll?

Loading like 20 items at once and then infinite load is a good way. But you need to optimize your flatlist (remove clipped subviews, set item layout manually, handle batchs, ...)

I'm trying to make a string that will write itself letter by letter until completing the sentence, and the speed of appearing each letter is based on an input that varies from 1 to 10. At the end of the string, it will blink for 5 seconds until that an alien will appear. My idea was to create a setInterval to add the letters and when the counter added the array size it would return the final animation of the loop with the new setInterval call, and before it was called again it had already been cleared, and called again in a recursion by setTimout callback to maintain the infinite loop. But it's not reaching setTimout, why?
