I have an MP3 audio stream contained in an .m3u8 file delivered through CloudFront. This is successfully used by apps to play audio, but I'm trying to play this in a browser.

I have tried the basic HTML tag, and more sophisticated implementations like videojs. In all cases, the audio plays fine in Safari, but will not play in Chrome or Firefox.

Using video.js:

Video.js does not support mp3 in HLS. HLS with acc would work.

I had tried DASH with segment seconds lower than 2. At 1 second, all sorts of weird things started to happen. 1 would be acceptable for DASH, but not HLS.

I have a page that shows a live stream video, but when I open that page on ios devices it open live stream on fullscreen mode, and when exit of fullscreen mode the live stream pauses. I want that the live stream video play without opening it on fullscreen mode.

With video.js this is what I tried:

For Video.js, add the playsinline attribute to the video element.
