Pandas: List of maximum values of difference from previous rows in new column
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 03:33

I want to add a new column 'BEST' to this dataframe, which contains a list of the names of the columns which meet these criteria:

            • Subtract from the current value in each column the value in the row that is 2 rows back
            • The column that has the highest result of this subtraction will be listed in 'BEST'
            • If more more than one column shares the same highest result, they all get listed
            • If all columns have the same result, they all get listed

First use shift and subtract to get the diff, then replace the maximum values with the column name and drop the others.

append or join value from one dataframe to every row in another dataframe in Pandas
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 23:59

I'm normally OK on the joining and appending front, but this one has got me stumped.

I've got one dataframe with only one row in it. I have another with multiple rows. I want to append the value from one of the columns of my first dataframe to every row of my second.

            df1:

            id Value 1 word

            df2:

            id data 1 a 2 b 3 c

            Output I'm seeking:

            df2

            id data Value 1 a word 2 b word 3 c word

I figured that this was along the right lines, but it listed out NaN for all rows:

Node.js can't read else if or else part
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 15:41

I wrote a discord bot. "o" is first letter of play. "atla" is skip. When I wrote -o MUSIC_NAME, music is adding queue and starting to play. And when I write again, just adding queue. Everything is okay still here. When I wrote -atla. It's also working perfectly. But when I allow to changing auto music itself, it's changing music automatically. But problem is here. The end of the last music not working else if (list.length === 0) block in endHandler function. How can I fix that? Thanks for your attention.

I'm not familiar with Discord bots but I don't think your endHandler will ever run the else if part the way it is because your code is always creating a new dispatcher when it plays the next song, but never sets up a finish handler for it.

I've never used it. But, here's what Morgan's Library and Burleson Consulting say about it (didn't find any reference in "official" Oracle documentation).

AUTO_PURGE purges from the logs based on class and global log_history.

The AUTO_PURGE procedure uses the log_history values defined at the scheduler, job class and job log_history level to determine which logs should be purged. This procedure runs as part of the scheduled purge process, but it can also be run manually.

Set available dates dynamically in bootstrap datepicker
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 08:49

I have a website which displays WMS data using Leaflet, and I've successfully set up a bootstrap datepicker where you can only select a date from an array of dates, using the beforeShowDay method.

I'm now trying to set up the datepicker so that when I change map layer on the website, the bootstrap datepicker will update its available dates from the newly updated list of layer dates (for the new layer). I've attempted to update the beforeShowDay function as in this answer and also tried to destroy and reinitialise the datepicker as seen here. Neither of these approaches worked.

Below is the code I'm using to set up the datepicker:

Here I'm wondering about the line [in s_client]
            New, TLSv1/SSLv3, Cipher is ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384

You're apparently using OpenSSL 1.0.2, where that's a basically useless relic. Back in the days when OpenSSL supported SSLv2 (mostly until 2010, although almost no one used it much after 2000), the ciphersuite values used for SSLv3 and up (including all TLS, but before 2014 OpenSSL didn't implement higher than TLS1.0) were structured differently than those used for SSLv2, so it was important to qualify the ciphersuite by the 'universe' it existed in. It has almost nothing to do with the protocol version actually used, which appears later in the session-param decode:

Should I trust conda or pip when checking libraries installed?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 00:54

While I am in a conda environment, the 'conda list' and 'pip freeze' show different number of libraries. For example, 'tensorflow-gpu' is listed in 'pip freeze', but not in 'conda list'. If I want to use tensorflow-gpu in this environment, should I run pip install tensorflow-gpu to install it again, or not necessary?

            ...

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 00:54

I think when you are using the conda environment. The conda list is going to show all the general packages that shared by the same conda environment. And the reason why 'tensorflow-gpu' is listed in 'pip freeze', but not in 'conda list', is because you used pip install to installed 'tensorflow-gpu'(could be you or the IDE). In this case, 'tensorflow-gpu' is only exists under this python project I believe. Actually, there is an official document about this topic.

Issues may arise when using pip and conda together. When combining conda and pip, it is best to use an isolated conda environment. Only after conda has been used to install as many packages as possible should pip be used to install any remaining software. If modifications are needed to the environment, it is best to create a new environment rather than running conda after pip. When appropriate, conda and pip requirements should be stored in text files.

Use pip only after conda Install as many requirements as possible with conda then use pip.

Pip should be run with --upgrade-strategy only-if-needed (the default).

Do not use pip with the --user argument, avoid all users installs.
