what's the simplest way to calculate the sum of values at the end of this jq command?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 22:54

I see that jq can calculate addition as simply as jq 'map(.duration) | add' but I've got a more complex command and I can't figure out how to perform this add at the end of it.

If any of your output is going to be raw, you need to pass -r; it'll just be ignored for data items that aren't strings.

Anyhow -- if you write (expr1, expr2), then your input will be passed through both expressions. Thus:

The correct URL to get just that specific key is:

So the .json is last, and before that you have the entire path to the data that you want to retrieve.

Instead of changing the css property dynamically, you can use dynamic render.

When you have hidden = false, tell List to render the ul tag.

How to reformat a corrupt json file with escaped ' and "?
            Asked 2021-Jun-13 at 11:41

            Problem

I have a large JSON file (~700.000 lines, 1.2GB filesize) containing twitter data that I need to preprocess for data and network analysis. During the data collection an error happend: Instead of using " as a seperator ' was used. As this does not conform with the JSON standard, the file can not be processed by R or Python.

Information about the dataset: Every about 500 lines start with meta info + meta information for the users, etc. then there are the tweets in json (order of fields not stable) starting with a space, one tweet per line.

This is what I tried so far:

            1. A simple data.replace('\'', '\"') is not possible, as the "text" fields contain tweets which may contain ' or " themselves.
            2. Using regex, I was able to catch some of the instances, but it does not catch everything: re.compile(r'"[^"]*"(*SKIP)(*FAIL)|\'')
            3. Using literal.eval(data) from the ast package also throws an error.

As the order of the fields and the legth for each field is not stable I am stuck on how to reformat that file in order to conform to JSON.

Normal sample line of the data (for this options one and two would work, but note that the tweets are also in non-english languages, which use " or ' in their tweets):

How to extract text input value and pass down that value down to a child component as a prop to use for fetching third part api data in React?
            Asked 2021-Jun-13 at 00:46

I am attempting to make a text input form displayed so the user can enter in what food items they have in their pantry. I then want to take this data when the form is submitted and pass it down to a child component where I'd like to add that data into my query string as a variable in an axios.get() request. I have tried changing the state of the input on submit in the parent component and pass that down as a prop to my child component (where all my api logic will be taking place). The problem is that every time I type in the text input I am receiving the prop in the child component instead of only on submit. This would then make the query string incorrect in the child component when I attempt to use the users input data in the get request. Essentially I need a way to pass down the value of the text input only on Submit and then clear the state so that every new time a user inputs data, that will be a new api call. Thanks in advance. Here are my two components

Discord bot does no respond to command
            Asked 2021-Jun-12 at 13:28

Recently, I've been making a server specific Discord bot for my friends. When I learned the Discord API can use prefixes and command events rather than the attribute startswith, I quickly got started into changing my entire code. I kept the responses of my bot, but changed it to run on @bot.command. Despite specifying my preifx and commands, the bot did not respond to me or anyone else on the server. I automatically assumed it was the prefix being an emoji, but changing it to "!" or "$" did not work either. Does anyone know why?

I'm not sure what your code looks like after the ajax call, but I'm guessing the the code where you are using Data is after the ajax call. ajax is asynchrounous. That means that your code doesn't wait for it to finish before moving on. Any code that needs to wait until after it's done fetching the data, you can put in the .success function. Also, it's worth noting that success only gets called when the ajax request is successful. If you want to handle errors, you can use .error Something like this should work:

Thanks for including a reproducible example. It's really hard to debug D3 and dc.js code by just staring at it without running it.

The problem here is that the scatter plot expects the group keys to be a two-element array of numbers, not just a single number. You can see that the key_function(), in the regression example which you started from, returns a function returning such keys.
