Asked 2021-Apr-10 at 07:17
How do you create a Test that confirms a Toast is displayed in a fragment.
Here are the bones of my test
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Apr-10 at 07:17Use the RobolectricTestRunner to launch a fragment in a test Activity. To launch the fragment create a FragmentScenario in a @Before function. In a @Test fun use ShadowToast to test the toast.

Install test-examples
We will now set up a separated client that will attach to the combiner. This should be done on a Linux/Unix machine with Docker.
Clone the FEDn repo
Edit the fedn-network.yaml in fedn/test/mnist-keras/. Change the discover_host to the URL of the FEDn Reducer (e.g. copy it from the browser URL bar, omit the scheme and trailing slash, so for instance: reducer-fedn-mnist-hbr-0491.studio.safespring-prod.stackn.dev). Change the discover_port to 443.
Rebuild the client
Run the Docker image
