This is likely not the most elegant, but it worked for me. I get a data-toggle tooltip, which can be formatted in CSS code with the class selector .tooltip {} and appears with mouse over on large devices, and then when on smaller devices, I can press and hold to get the normal title text.

Solution:

In Joomla I have two different Jumi scripts, one to create the data-toggle tooltips at the top of each module:

I checked the Javascript code of Tooltip given on the website you mentioned. I think the area of problem is this code in the bottom of tooltip Javascript

Apparently, rcrop doesn't like to change properties or subject on the fly, and the destroy method is pretty messy, as it sometimes deletes the original object or leaves the preview display behind.

So, to avoid that, I changed a bit the behaviour to delete the remains and then recreate the image and attach it to the rcrop again.
