QUESTION
The execution was ok locally in unit test, but fails when the Spark Streaming execution is propagated to the real cluster executors, like they silently crash and no longer available for the context:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-01 at 20:55The reason of the failure was actually in using the same name for the query name and checkpoint location path (but not in the part that was attempteed to be improved for the first time). Later I have fount one more error log:
QUESTION
I am trying to configure SELinux on Poky Linux distro.
I am connecting to the board both on serial and ssh.
Launching ping and ifconfig on ssh the board prints nothing, whereas the same command on serial is printing the correct one.
At first, ping was completely disabled, so I had to patch the netutils SELinux policy (now works correctly).
The command journalctl -xe | grep "denied"
shows no "denied" for ping neither ifconfig.
How can I fix this issue? Or where should I look further? Maybe a /dev/pts error?

QUESTION
The Liquibase
install comes with an examples directory you can use to learn about different commands. The examples use a H2
database with a web console on port 9090. Unfortunately port 9090 is not available.
I'm asking how can I change the web-conole port used with the example H2
database started by the script:
start-h2
The port appears to be specified by the Liquibase liquibase.example.StartH2Main
module itself. H2 doesn't seem influenced by changes to: $HOME/.h2.server.properties
...
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Aug-21 at 08:10I have answered my own question, taking the lead from @RobbyCornelissen recommendation, with the following updates.
- It is completely possible to build the
StartH2Main
class. - Change the
dbPort
constant from9090
to something 'available' like 8092.
- The
StartH2Main
app loads H2 and side-steps the.h2.server.properties
file.
- Build a
StartH2Main.jar
for yourself.
- The
9090
is hard-coded forStartH2Main
. - Port
9090
is the database port, which means that all the examples must be updated to match the new port number given.
Personally I feel that anything such as a port used for a demo or tutorial should be something I can put on the command line or in a config file. Thus, avoiding timeconsuming or inconvenient barriers to adoption. It just makes sense. Such things can always have a default, please allow them to be configured as well.

I`m trying to run my cluster with Kerberos. Before hdfs, yarn and spark worked correctly. After setting up kerberos, I can only run hdfs because yarn is going to crush after 15 minutes with an error. I have tried different configurations with no result. Master node do not have any logs about slave node. Nodemanager run just for 15 minutes but do not show on yarn master list.
I do not understand why you can use kinit or hdfs run with no problem, but yarn seems to not connect the resource manager.

. Try adding below configuration on NodeManager's yarn-site.xml.
QUESTION
So this error is a weird one...
I'm using EXE4J 6 to build a .exe file for my JavaFX Application. This has worked with no issues through Java version 13.0.1. I recently upgraded my environment to use Java 14.0.1 and now I get the following stacktrace whenever I try to run my application through exe:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Jul-20 at 21:34I was finally able to determine what the issue was.
I was using Exe4J 6.0 which was not compatible with Java versions 10+. I was surprised that I wasn't getting outright errors when trying to run exe4j to compile my executable, however it seems that exe4j was sucking in an older 1.8 java version from my registry and using a 1.8 jdk that I never cleaned out of my "C:/Program Files/Java" folder. When I deleted all my old JDKs, exe4j started complaining about missing a Java VM (even though 14.0.1 was set on path).
Upgrading to Exe4J 7.0 solved the issue for me.
QUESTION
I have a static http request helper in ASP.NET
Is it thread safe?
Will it cause a memory leak?
Will the singleton model be a better choice?
PS: In this case, I don't need extend classes or implement interfaces.
Will this code have a bad effect on the program?
Here is the code.Thank you for your help.

QUESTION
I am currently experimenting with Apache Spark. Everything seems to be working fine in that all the various components are up and running (i.e. HDFS, Spark, Yarn, etc). There do not appear to be any errors during the startup of any of these. I am running this in a Vagrant VM and Spark/HDFS/Yarn are dockerized.
tl;dr: Submitting an job via Yarn results in There are 1 datanode(s) running and 1 node(s) are excluded in this operation
.
Submitting my application with: $ spark-submit --master yarn --class org.apache.spark.examples.SparkPi --driver-memory 512m --executor-memory 512m --executor-cores 1 /Users/foobar/Downloads/spark-3.0.0-preview2-bin-hadoop3.2/examples/jars/spark-examples_2.12-3.0.0-preview2.jar 10

Answered 2020-May-05 at 05:14Turns out it was a networking issue. If you look closely at what was originally posted in the question you will see the following error in the log, one that I originally missed:
QUESTION
I'm a student of big data. I'm coming to you today for a question about the high availability of HDFS using Zookeeper. I am aware that there has already been bcp of topic dealing with this subject, I have read a lot of them already. It's already been 15 days that I've been browsing the forums without finding what I'm looking for (maybe I'm not looking in the right place too ;-) )
I have followed the procedure three times here: https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/current/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-hdfs/HDFSHighAvailabilityWithQJM.html.
I may have done everything right, but when I kill one of my namenodes, none of them take over.
My architecture is as follows: - 5 VM - VM 1,3 and 5 are namenodes - VMs 1 to 5 are datanodes.
I launched my journalnodes, I started my DFSZKFailoverController, I formatted my first namenode, I copied with -bootstrapStandby the configuration of my first namenode to the 2 others and I started my cluster.
Despite all this and no obvious problems in the ZKFC and namenode logs, I can't get a namenode to take over a dying namenode.
Does anyone have any idea how to help me?
Many thanks for your help :)

...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Apr-14 at 15:11The problem with my configuration finally came from two commands that hadn't been installed when I installed the hadoop cluster:
- first the nc command: fixed by installing the nmap package from yum
- then the command fuser: fixed by installing the psmisc package from yum

Install netutils
You can use netutils like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
