QUESTION
I am trying to write a macro that will copy from a list of 100 rows (9 cells each) into a single row, then run solver on it, and then copy the values to another spot in the workbook.
The below code works for one line, but everything that i have found online appears to be for paste sequential rows, not copying them and pasting them into the same row to be operated on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

QUESTION
Sorry I don't show my variables or anything, tried to give information only pertaining to the questions. This 1 Sub is huge.
Currently my code allows a user to select multiple files, the files selected will be sorted in a specific format, then loaded into 2 different arrays. Currently loads Columns D:E into 1 array and Columns I:K into another array (from selected files QSResultFileWS
, and returns those arrays to my destination FormattingWS
. I'm still trying to learn arrays so if the methodology I used to do this isn't proper, be gentle.
ANSWER

function to remove the blanks.
Replace you lines load the arrays
QUESTION
The following code does everything I want: pulls email, saves attachments, extracts files EXCEPT save the original email to the folder fDest. I seem unable to see the solution.
This seems to be the problematic line as it won't save the email: "mi.SaveAs fDest2, olMSG"
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 19:38You must be sure there are no invalid characters in the filename. See What characters are forbidden in Windows and Linux directory names? for more information. So, I'd suggest using the Replace
method available in VBA before passing anything to the SaveAs
method.
Another point is that you need to specify unique file names to each email. Make sure the generated file name is unique for a folder.
QUESTION
I have two google sheets in the same workbook and I am trying to import certain columns from one into the other sheet based on what hour of class was chosen. For example, I have the Date in column A, Name in B, Email in C, and Number in D and other stuff, then the Class in I.
Column A - Date Column B - Name Column C - Email Column D - Number ... Column I - Class
My goal is to import column B through D if column I has a certain class. I tried a using this if statemnt: =if('Confirmação'!I2 = A1,(=importrange("sheet_url","Confirmação!B2:D2")), "NOPE")
where A1 has the name of the class to look for, but it resulted in a #Error.
Then I tried a variety of query such as the following:
=QUERY({'Confirmação'!B2:D2,'Confirmação'!I2},"Where I = 'Terça 19h English 1'")
=QUERY({'Confirmação'!B2:D2, 'Confirmação'!I2},"Where 'Confirmação'!I = 'Terça 19h English 1'")
and also added the IfError: =iferror(QUERY('Confirmação'!B4:I4,"Where I = 'Terça 19h English 1'"),"Vaga")
Could someone correct my functions or help with a google script? Thank you! Very much appreciated! (Sorry about the Portugues-it's a project I am working on in Brazil)

QUESTION
I've created a simple VBA interface to connect Excel to a MySQL DB. The VBA part acts as a preview of data for the user to choose what item he wants to import to the Excel sheet.
Until now I've work with a very complete set of data, but I got to a Table which (because of the nature of the items) some fields are NULL.
Now every time I try to check the values in the VBA I get the Run-time error 13 Type mismatch in the listview component. At first I though it was a field with DECIMAL typing, but after changing it to a DOUBLE (for testing) the problem persisted, and it was until I notice that if only checks columns with no NULL value, the problem disappears. Off course I can't omit this values.
I tried some .Tostring functions but with no success. And I failed to implement a IF to check for NULL in the obj.
This is my code:

Answered 2021-Apr-13 at 10:28If you don't want to add a IsNull
-function in you SQL (as Nathan_Sav suggested as a comment): There is a IsNull
-function in VBA. With that, you can create a simple function that returns for example an empty string (or a 0 or whatever you prefer):

QUESTION
My first question on stack overflow! I'm new to VBA and am building a macro that selects data from downloaded .CVS sheets and inserts them into an existing workbook. The downloaded .CVS sheets have names titled "payment history######-#_date" whose numbers (#) correspond to account numbers which represent the rows in my other workbook. There are more than 60 account numbers.
Now, I'm stuck on the most important part of the code. The idea is to loop through the range containing the account numbers and use a like function to match the account number to the number portion of the worksheet name. It would go something like this:

QUESTION
I am having issues with my eBAY Scraper and can not work out why. Although it is pulling the data off fine, it misses SOME of the data OFF for the first row and then for each first row of every Loop and therefore the data is not in the correct row.
Q) Why is it missing the data at the start and then for each loop?
I think It may have something to do with the title extracting slower that the rest of the items, however I can not work it out as I am very limited with vba. I have attached a demo, for your viewing.
I am not looking for a full rewite of the code, just pointing in the right direction or a SLIGHT change to MY code. As I stated I and very limited in vba, I can understand my code, anything more advanced will be out of my depth.
Demo Download - Download Excel File
WebSite - Ebay.co.uk
Ebay Product Page - Prodcts Shown may vary browser to browser
I have colour coded it so you can see better
For some reason it misses out Price, Condition, Former Price & Discount for the first item on start and EVERY Loop. For every loop that it misses the items out the Price, Condition, Former Price & Discount become MORE out of line
1st Loop - Items are NOW 2 rows out of line
2nd Loop - Items are NOW 3 rows out of line
As I searched 3 pages (2 pages + 1 extra) and it looped 3 time it has missed the first row on each loop. I am 3 rows out. I think this may have too do with the Title of the item as it extracts a bit slower then the rest of the items
This is my code

Install workbook
You can use workbook like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
