QUESTION
in my workbook_open event I have some code that promptes the Run-time error 1004(see picture).
I assume this is my problem. But I can't find any good solution, I'm not able to use the code in the link (or get it to work). I have done some research but none of the previous questions include any good answer.
Quick about the problem: when leaving "protected view"(by pressing "enable edit") the workbook_open is triggered, but the file hasn't actually been opened, so the code "worksheets("...") returns null and the error is displayed.

Due to this problem I had to find another way to run my code when starting the file. I solved this by writing code that would run when saving the file instead, meaning I don't have the problem of "protecting view". I'm "forcing" the file to go into a "log out" mode whereas all sheets have been hidden and protected (all column are also hidden) with the exception of the "loginpage". Note: This also solved another problem of me, when the file was opened "protecting view", some sheet were still visible, which would have been hidden by my code that was going to be run at "workbook_open".
Code I used:

Install open-event
You can use open-event like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
