kandi X-RAY | pyAPT Summary
Python interface to Thorlab’s APT motion controllers. Depends on libftdi1 and pylibftdi. Under Linux the easiest way to get these is to install libftdi1 using the package management system, and then install pylibftdi into a virtual environment or equivalent. Development is ongoing, and I will be adding functionality as I need them in the course of my DPhil.

Install pyAPT
You can use pyAPT like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
