QUESTION
We have code looking like this.
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-May-13 at 09:05The error is caused by a clash of dependencies as Christoph Schubert pointed out. To quote from his comment:
Both
org.json:json
andcom.vaadin.external.google:android-json
provide aorg.json.JSONException
. The first library has one extendingRuntimeException
while the latter provides a checked Exception.
The only solution I can think of is to exclude one of the two libraries in your dependency tree.

Install wikidata-toolkit
You can use wikidata-toolkit like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
