Mapbender Error when initializing with my MapProxyWMS
            Asked 2021-Feb-04 at 10:34

I am currently working on integrating a MapProxy WMS into my Mapbender applications.

Adding the MapProxy as a datasource works fine. Mapbender recognizes all layers and metadata. Additionaly I can add the MapProxy WMS to an application, but when I start that application, I get the following error message on the top right:

Additionally this error "deactivates" the "wms-layer-tree" on the left (the menu where the user can activate or deactivate wms sources"

In the MapBender log, I can see the following:

            Okay.. I found the solution.

While testing the MapProxy WMS I wanted to disable it by default when starting the application. Sadly I chose the wrong option, which let to crashing the WMS-Layer-Tree.

So if you have the same problem: don't deactivate the first option!

I used OpenLayer2, Mapproxy, Mapnik and tilecache for generating map. I added TMS layers in openlayer2. Now I want to upgrade my openlayer, for that I chose latest version ol6. How do I add a TMS layer in ol6.

In OpenLayers TMS layers are tile layers using a XYZ source:

Vertical alignment of TMS tiles in Leaflet using EPSG:25832 projection
            Asked 2020-Jun-28 at 17:00

I am using Leaflet with Proj4Leaflet to work with tiles in 25832. The application is fairly simple: I am trying to overlay tiles in EPSG:25832 onto a omniscale basemap. I have copied the individual resolutions and origin from the tilemap meta information. The problem I am facing is that the map is not aligned and once I zoom in the tiles are not placed in the correct order. I'd appreciate any kind of support here (by the way, this is a working example which is using openlayers).

I guess I am doing something wrong here:

This boils down to how the Y coordinate of TMS tiles is inverted (it becomes higher when going north, as opposed to default TileLayers, in which the Y coordinate becomes larger when going south).

Having a look on the Leaflet code that takes care of this specific feature will shed some light on the issue:

            Install mapproxy

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use mapproxy like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
