kandi X-RAY | redis-symbol Summary

redis-symbol is a Ruby library typically used in Server, Application Framework applications. redis-symbol has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

During my port of Trineo's Resque example to Unicorn, I came across an issue with the Sinatra Redis gem. The issue being that I can't get it to work in a modular application. (Note this gem hasn't been touched in three odd years.) I do understand the difference between classic and modular Sinatra applications. I've read into how scope is affected by the top-level DSL versus subclassing in a modular application, which happens to be my preference. What I really want to get an idea of is if it's possible to run this gem in a modular application, and, get it working on Heroku.

What is meant by required-api: param name=”#target” in config.xml file of AGL widgets?

I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below

This is the sample config.xml file

I figured out why we need this

            required-api: param name="#target"

            OPTIONAL(not compulsory)

It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.
