kandi X-RAY | to-the-resque Summary
Okay. I've always wanted to play around with background jobs so, as with all my stuff, I looked for something that I could easily deploy to Heroku. I found Trineo's Resque example and, after a fare amount of wrangling, managed to get it going. Thing was: I only wanted this to work on a single dyno. As it turns out, Unicorn allows you to get a couple of workers running. I think. Either that or I'm going to cop a charge (not) from Heroku. This is a work in progress. I've been having a few issues with the Sinatra Redis gem so looking at pulling it out and using the Redis gem.

QUESTION
I am trying to understand various available AGL specific options that we can give in config.xml and I am referring to the link below
https://docs.automotivelinux.org/docs/en/halibut/apis_services/reference/af-main/2.2-config.xml.html
This is the sample config.xml file
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Mar-06 at 09:48I figured out why we need this
required-api: param name="#target"
OPTIONAL(not compulsory)
It declares the name of the unit(in question it is main) requiring the listed apis. Only one instance of the param “#target” is allowed. When there is not instance of this param, it behave as if the target main was specified.

On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.
