QUESTION
This is regarding a Spring Cloud Config Server hobby project (with @EnableConfigServer
).
Yesterday, the application could be started.
Today, the application failed to start because of a Git communication error.
From GitHub's official blog post, it is mentioned that SHA-1 is no longer supported starting from 15 March 2022. And that explains the results I'm getting these 2 days.
March 15, 2022
Changes made permanent.
We’ll permanently stop accepting DSA keys. RSA keys uploaded after the cut-off point above will work only with SHA-2 signatures (but again, RSA keys uploaded before this date will continue to work with SHA-1). The deprecated MACs, ciphers, and unencrypted Git protocol will be permanently disabled.
Even if I didn't delete the existing SSH key, it still failed to start today. But anyway, now the only key under the "Deploy keys" section of the repository settings is an SSH key that was added after the March 15, 2022 cut off date.

ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-16 at 14:07I have a same problem.
See https://github.com/spring-cloud/spring-cloud-config/issues/2061
For right now, I have a dirty workaround: use https uri, username and password(maybe personal secret token).
QUESTION
I got this below error when run the API-GATEWAY, I tried so many ways but I couldn't solve this issue.
Description:
Spring MVC found on classpath, which is incompatible with Spring Cloud Gateway.
Action:
Please set spring.main.web-application-type=reactive or remove spring-boot-starter-web dependency.

...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Aug-01 at 06:17Please note that Spring Cloud Gateway is not compatible with Spring MVC (spring-boot-starter-web
). This is outlined in section "How to include Spring Cloud Gateway in the official reference documentation":
Spring Cloud Gateway is built on Spring Boot 2.x, Spring WebFlux, and Project Reactor. As a consequence, many of the familiar synchronous libraries (Spring Data and Spring Security, for example) and patterns you know may not apply when you use Spring Cloud Gateway.
Additionally, it is stated that:
Spring Cloud Gateway requires the Netty runtime provided by Spring Boot and Spring Webflux. It does not work in a traditional Servlet Container or when built as a WAR.
As already suggested by the error message, you would need to remove the dependency on spring-boot-starter-web
. You can list all your direct and transitive dependencies with the following command:

ANSWER
Answered 2021-Sep-16 at 13:35At the time of release of Apollo Server 3, the protocol used in the graphql-ws library is not yet supported by GraphQL Playground or Apollo Explorer.
see here
It's only advisable to use graphql-ws if interacting with subscriptions via playground is not of much use to you and you're okay interacting with subscriptions solely from your own client that has been setup to use graphql-ws.
To setup your client to use graphql-ws with Apollo. see here.
QUESTION
Recently I have started to use hydra to manage the configs in my application. I use Structured Configs to create schema for .yaml config files. Structured Configs in Hyda uses dataclasses for type checking. However, I also want to use some kind of validators for some of the parameter I specify in my Structured Configs (something like this).
Do you know if it is somehow possible to use Pydantic for this purpose? When I try to use Pydantic, OmegaConf complains about it:
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Jan-10 at 05:58See pydantic.dataclasses.dataclass, which are a drop-in replacement for the standard-library dataclasses with some extra type-checking.
QUESTION
I'm deploying a spring-boot application and prometheus container through docker, and have exposed the spring-boot /actuator/prometheus
endpoint successfully. However, when I enable prometheus debug logs, I can see it fails to scrape the metrics:
ANSWER
Answered 2022-Feb-07 at 22:37Ok, I think I found my problem. I made two changes:
First, I moved the contents of the web.config.file into the prometheus.yml file under the 'spring-actuator'. Then I changed the target to use the hostname for my backend container, rather than 127.0.0.1.
The end result was a single prometheus.yml file:

I am getting the following error mentioned. The basic configs are as follow: I have uploaded the files on the server I want to download them but getting these errors I called a POST request to /api/files/delete/${fileId} Which should call the route and give back the file to the browser instead getting the error with the Grid related module.

Answered 2021-Sep-07 at 04:57I also faced similar issues. The resolution for me was with mongoose version. The issue arises in the version 6.0.5 but is working in the version 5.13.7
QUESTION
I have an application running on my local machine that uses React -> gRPC-Web -> Envoy -> Go app and everything runs with no problems. I'm trying to deploy this using GKE Autopilot and I just haven't been able to get the configuration right. I'm new to all of GCP/GKE, so I'm looking for help to figure out where I'm going wrong.
I was following this doc initially, even though I only have one gRPC service: https://cloud.google.com/architecture/exposing-grpc-services-on-gke-using-envoy-proxy
From what I've read, GKE Autopilot mode requires using External HTTP(s) load balancing instead of Network Load Balancing as described in the above solution, so I've been trying to get that to work. After a variety of attempts, my current strategy has an Ingress, BackendConfig, Service, and Deployment. The deployment has three containers: my app, an Envoy sidecar to transform the gRPC-Web requests and responses, and a cloud SQL proxy sidecar. I eventually want to be using TLS, but for now, I left that out so it wouldn't complicate things even more.
When I apply all of the configs, the backend service shows one backend in one zone and the health check fails. The health check is set for port 8080 and path /healthz which is what I think I've specified in the deployment config, but I'm suspicious because when I look at the details for the envoy-sidecar container, it shows the Readiness probe as: http-get HTTP://:0/healthz headers=x-envoy-livenessprobe:healthz. Does ":0" just mean it's using the default address and port for the container, or does indicate a config problem?
I've been reading various docs and just haven't been able to piece it all together. Is there an example somewhere that shows how this can be done? I've been searching and haven't found one.
My current configs are:

Answered 2021-Oct-14 at 22:35Here is some documentation about Setting up HTTP(S) Load Balancing with Ingress. This tutorial shows how to run a web application behind an external HTTP(S) load balancer by configuring the Ingress resource.
Related to Creating a HTTP Load Balancer on GKE using Ingress, I found two threads where instances created are marked as unhealthy.
In the first one, they mention the necessity to manually enable a firewall rule to allow http load balancer ip range to pass health check.
In the second one, they mention that the Pod’s spec must also include containerPort. Example:

I have the following code
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-03 at 15:55The seekToEnd
method requires the information on the actual partition (in Kafka terms TopicPartition
) on which you plan to make your consumer read from the end.
I am not familiar with the Kotlin API, but checking the JavaDocs on the KafkaConsumer's method seekToEnd you will see, that it asks for a collection of TopicPartitions.
As you are currently using emptyList()
, it will have no impact at all, just like you observed.

This is the Warning that I receive from Webpack, despite installing the imageminSvgo plugin.
I have used it within the Image Minimizer Plugin as imageminSvgo, but Webpack doesn't seem to detect it.
I would really appreciate some help in knowing how to use this plugin in my project in the best way.
Here are my webpack.config.js configs.

QUESTION
We have a Prometheus
container and various other services and metrics exporter
containers running in a custom docker network.
In our local dev environment on Win 10 x64 using Docker desktop
everything works fine, the Prometheus
container can scrape the metrics exporter
containers in the custom network as well as the exposed Docker metrics
from the host (Win 10).
On our Ubuntu 18.04 Linux host, latest Prometheus 2.30.3
container scrapes the metrics exporter containers in the custom network just fine but is unable to scrape the exposed Docker metrics
from the host.
These are the specs and config for the Ubuntu
host:
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Nov-10 at 23:02figured this out:
in our case UFW
on Ubuntu
was blocking the requests on docker0
interface from our containers that are in a custom docker network.
You can see this by checking the UFW logs, you will see how it blocks the requests for 172.17.0.1
(--> host.docker.internal) on the specified metrics port.
Disabling UFW temporarily made it work, Prometheus
could now scrape the Docker metrics on the host.
Re-enabled UFW, then...
(1) gave a custom interface name to my custom docker network
