I need to wait for the task of this API to finish before moving to the next task. How would I add a promise / await to this syntax?
I need to use the enqueue function and then wait for the stream to complete before continuing any further code. I have tried returning a promise withing the .on('end', {}) call but with no luck.
Any help is much appreciated.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Feb-14 at 17:04Your code is almost fine, but in order to use Promises you need to wrap the whole code in it. You'd achieve that like this:
QUESTION
I have a password protected page which I recently was asked by my client to change the password. The password protection is done from the WordPress dashboard by using the Status and visibility option from Page-> PageName -> Edit option and selecting Visibility: Password Protected and editing the password. The previous password had worked fine for many months but once I changed the password, the new password was not accepted. I keep getting the prompt for the password no matter how many times I enter the correct password.
Cache busting or a clue?
Interestingly if I add a cache busting querystring like ?a=0 to the end of the protected page's URL, I am let in! What's up with that? Does the page/WordPress know that I previously entered the correct password?
With WordPress, does the user need to enter the password each time they visit the password protected page or only the first?

...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Jun-14 at 00:05RESOLVED!
See that Sucuri plugin?
The DNS for my site points to a Sucuri server which does caching.
I logged into the Sucuri site and added an exclusion for the WordPress password protected page to the caching setup using the UI. Now the new password works and the page behaves as expected. No cache busting required.
The login page posts to a PHP file which hashes the entered password, stores it in a cookie and sets its expiration date to 10 days in the future so you can visit the password protected page for 10 days until you will be prompted for the password again. This is assuming that you are accessing the page from the same device and browser.
QUESTION
I get a 500 error when (1. i access this file directly) / (2. i use jquery to get a response from this file)
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Mar-07 at 14:38I think you forgot to start a php tag which means one of your {
brackets is in the javascript string and not in php. Due to that, the closing bracket }
of is is unexpected because it never started.
Try adding a on the first line where I created the arrow on your screenshot:
You will have to place it directly before $query
and directly after `, just like if you would replace $query
with .
QUESTION
I have some troubles getting the content from a winform textlist item to multiple XML nodes.
When i try my code:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Jan-28 at 15:43If your intention is to create new element and add those elements as children to the parent, you have to create each child separately and continue adding to the parent. In your code, you iterate over a loop and continue to append child List
but with different values each time. Instead of creating a new tag, its appending the value.
When you loop over the groups, you have to create a new element, newXmlgrouplist
. If you reuse the same one, it will update it each time instead of adding a new instance. Use, $newXmlgrouplist = $doc.CreateElement("List")
to create new instance each time.
Wrote a small code to show you how to create elements and adding them separately
QUESTION
I need a way to determine from a PS script if any web page is up or down, regardless of whether it first prompts for credentials. Even if the page requires that java is installedd or whatever other reason. The goal here is to determine that the page is there and it shouldn't matter whether it works properly or if it can be displayed. After all is said and done it should just tell me that site/page is UP or DOWN after executing the script with .\sitecheck.ps1 'https://trac.edgewall.org/login'
It'd also be nice if we could print why the page is down (like when you get a 401 error) and print the error message and status code (integer).
I'm trying to work off of this script which obviously doesn't work properly because I'm trying to find a solution:
...ANSWER
Answered 2019-Dec-07 at 20:07Don't expect to receive a 200
because you haven't accessed the page yet. Look, I can even click on the hyperlink you posted here on StackOverflow: before accessing the page the banner ask for login (I haven't accessed the page yet)
Then, because I don't have the credentials what I receive is a 401 Unauthorized
.
So what I suggest you to do is to check if Apache Subversion is up and running instead:
QUESTION
I do have an application with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) using Angular Universal, and NestJS. The focus is a lot on security. When I deploy it using Sucuri Sitecheck I can see that the http://localhost:35729/livereload.js is included in this (this scanner throws information only about this script). And this is over unencrypted HTTP, which I don't want. I can see that Subresource Integrity in Mozilla Observatory also gives me -50 points for loading external scripts over HTTP. Is there any way to exclude this script from a compilation bundle? Below is my code.
...ANSWER
Answered 2019-Sep-09 at 12:48Apparently removing liveReload: true
from AngularUniversalModule solved this problem, it looks like I had to wait for some time to get the updated results from the browser/scanner
QUESTION
I've spent the last 3 hours trying everything to disable TLSv1 on Nginx. I've scoured the web and tried everything mentioned but to no avail.
Things I've tried include:
reordering "default_server" to be before ssl in the server tab
removed preferred ciphers
commenting out vast amounts of "ssl_" configs to see if that helps
At all times, I tested the domain using "openssl s_client -connect example.com:443 -tlsv1" after restarting the nginx service
Here is my /etc/nginx/nginx.conf file:
...ANSWER
Answered 2019-Aug-29 at 15:15I managed to find out that the issue was not caused by the Nginx configuration file but instead was down to a Cloudflare setting (https://community.cloudflare.com/t/how-do-i-disable-tls-1-0/2670/10).
I used this repo to find out that the server was not at fault (testing the servers ip_address:port) - https://github.com/drwetter/testssl.sh
The command I used was "/bin/bash testssl.sh 256.98.767.762:443" (not my servers real ip)
