I want to install packages from poetry.lock file; using poetry install.

However, the majority of packages throw the exact same error, indicating a shared fundamental problem.

What is causing this? What is the standard fix?

This looks to be an active issue relating to poetry. See here - Issue #4085. Some suggest a workaround by downgrading poetry-core down to 1.0.4.

There is an active PR to fix the issue.

I have a problem installing docker on my virtual machine. I have followed the steps below:

            1. Older versions of Docker were called docker, docker.io, or docker-engine. If these are installed, uninstall them:

sudo apt-get remove docker docker-engine docker.io containerd runc

            2. Update the apt package index

            sudo apt-get update

Make sure the content of the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list corresponds to the output of the command in the documentation, bullet #3.

At the time of this writing executing the command on my Ubuntu 20.04 LTS results in the following content of the docker.list file:

            deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/docker-archive-keyring.gpg] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu focal stable

which seems to be different from that of yours.

This question has been answered before by using ranges, but I'm using C++17 with a backport of std::span - so I have spans but not ranges.

Convert main args to `spanstd::string_view without ranges

This question has been answered before

You'll notice that the "answered before" solution doesn't create a std::span at all.

std::span is not an adapter range whose iterators would generate objects upon indirection such as std::views::transform is and does. You cannot have a std::span unless you have an array of std::string_view objects. And those objects won't be stored within the span.

std::span isn't very convenient for command line arguments. But, you could first create a std::vector and then a span pointing to the vector. Since command line arguments are global, this is a rare case where a static storage doesn't suffer from significant problems - unless the caller mistakenly thinks that they can call it with varying arguments:

Does anyone know of a workaround? I believe that installing with --no-cache-dir would fix it but I can't figure out how to get EB to do that. Thank you.

            Asked 2022-Jan-05 at 20:23

I'm trying to write a distill::distill_article blogpost which requires the use of LaTeX math environments e.g. theorem, lemma, proof etc.

I have tried to follow these instructions and also these instructions but am unable to render the theorem environments whether using LaTeX blocks or rmarkdown blocks.

I also note that a similar question was asked about specifically using distill::distill_article in bookdown. This fix did not work either. Note that my use-case is to use the bookdown theorem environments inside distill::distill_article, not the other way around.

Python cfn_tools module won't load in AWS CodeBuild running in AWS CodePipeline
            Asked 2021-Dec-20 at 19:11

I have been getting the following error in my CodeBuild execution: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'cfn_tools'

Interesting note, the first time I ran this through CodeBuild with this module I had no issues. It only started happening after I made my next gitHub push that kicked off my pipeline that I saw this. The files that are related to this didn't change, and the modifications in that next push were to an unrelated section of the repo.

I have since tried to do:

            • pip install cfn-tools & pip3 install cfn-tools which mentioned that the module was already installed. These were added to the BuildSpec section. No success - still got the error
            • I've added a requirements.txt file with no success still got the error. I created this file using pip freeze also within the BuildSpec. The module shows up, but still get the error.
            • Originally used runtime version 3.7 of python and then tried with 3.9 which still didn't work.

python runtime 3.9 Any assistance would be appreciated.

UPDATE: To add more information I download a .tar.gz file from S3 that contains the python scripts I need for running in this build. I extract the .tar.gz then I run the script that is having the error. Here is the output for when I install cfn-tools and do a pip freeze You will see below that cfn-tools loads and is part of the output of pip freeze but yet when I run my script it give me the above error.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Dec-20 at 19:11

The module I was trying to install wasn't the one that was being used.

The module that needed to be installed was cfn_flip it has the cfn_tools module that the code was trying to use. The CodeBuild didn't have it installed, so how it worked on the first run is still a mystery.
