QUESTION
I have problem from my tina project. My problem is I want to create my own submit button in tinacms project. Not from sidebar or top bar that has been provided by tinacms.
I want to create custom button onSubmit.
is there a way to do this ?

QUESTION
My [slug].js file, below, has two nextjs helper functions. The getStaticPaths and getStaticProps are exported. In my case, it creates the path posts/[slug]
. There is one post file added called hello.json
. Now when I navigate to localhost:3000/posts/hello
it errors saying:
TypeError: Cannot read property 'fileRelativePath' of undefined
. For line 10.
This makes sense after seeing that jsonFile
is undefined. As a matter of fact, the whole getStaticProps
is never called, the log in there is never logged. Why is this happening?
Thanks in advance.

QUESTION
I’m wondering if it is possible to edit a Markdown file with TinaCMS by adding new frontmatter fields. I’m not interested in creating a completely new Markdown file, but rather editing the existing one by adding new frontmatter fields. Right now I can edit a single field, but I can’t add a new field on top of it. The reason for this is because I have a navbar menu where every menu item is a frontmatter property. I want to be able to extend my navbar menu by adding a new property. Is this possible?

Answered 2020-Jul-19 at 11:47I found the answer through posting the same question on the TinaCMS community forum. By using the fields "group-list", it is completely possible to add, and remove frontmatter fields from TinaCMS. More information can be found here: https://tinacms.org/docs/fields/blocks
