QUESTION
Not seeing shell prompt or input when running docker exec from a Makefile

So this is weird and maybe kind of hard to explain - but when I run a docker exec xxx bash
command from make/Makefile I cannot see the shell prompt or anything I type until after I press enter.

Answered 2019-Jul-24 at 22:22Oh blimey - I'm dumb. In case anyone encounters this the issue is I had make aliased to use a tool called colourify/grc. So:
