There is no requirement that new returns a new address. All it has to do is return an address that's different from any existing object. That's what it's doing in your program.

s4 is different from s3 because s3 is still pointing at a valid object when you create s4.

s3 is allowed to be the same as s2 because s2 is not pointing at a valid object when you create s3. You deleted that object when you did delete s1; on the previous line (since s1 and s2 are both pointing at the same object).

In other words if you want a different address each time then don't delete anything.

In your case I'm not keen on using a boolean visible as a cascading parameter, it's a bit simplistic. The cascading value is also in the wrong place for this as it needs to wrap both the @Body render and the buttons.

Zebra printer printing extra labels

I am using ZPL to print from a Zebra printer (QLN420 model)

Label size is 4" wide and 2" inches length

But when I send a job for an image that is 4 x 2 to print, it prints 3 labels, first 2 are empty and last one gets the image

When I send a job for an image that is 4x6 it print correctly on 3 labels of 4x2

The printer is set to stop by mark, meaning it stops with a black mark on the back of the label. When pressing on the printer feed it prints only 1 4x2 but when printing with ZPL it prints 3 (2 empty and then the image

I tried using ^LL and set it manually but it didn't help

(I am using C# create the ZPL and to send to the printer)

No need to communicate via ipcRenderer and ipcMain and no need to use webContents.print() since I am not printing the contents of a window.

To get this to work, I had to install node-printer from https://github.com/tojocky/node-printer using yarn.

Then I imported the printer into my module via import printer from 'printer';

Use console.log('printer.getPrinters: ', printer.getPrinters()); to see what printers are installed on the OS. The one I want to use is named 'ZDesigner GC420d (EPL)'

Then when I got my response back from the external API with the proper ZPLCode:

myList is a List of type Anonymous object, there's nothing wrong with that but it will be hard to keep track of. What we need to do is make a class/model for it THEN make a viewmodel that will contain both variables.

To call GRF.from_image, you need to pass a bytes-like object. Currently, you have saved your Drawing as a png file, then pass that the the function. Instead, you should open the saved png file and pass the read object to from_image like:
