            QUESTION

Query to Find Adjacent Records in Access 2016
            Asked 2021-Jun-11 at 08:36

I have a table with a field called Result that contains values that can be anywhere between 1 and 100.

The table also contains a Date/Time field and is sorted from oldest to newest.

I want to be able to return adjacent records that have a Result of less than 3.

So, I need to first find a record with a Result that is less than 3 then check if the next records also have a Result of less than 3. If they do these records should be returned.

There may be no such adjacent records or there may be multiple records that meet this criteria.

            Is this possible?

I've put together a short piece of code that loops the original data, ordered by the date field, and if it finds a result of less than 3, checks the following results until one of them is 3 or more. It adds all of the ID fields to a string, which can then be used as the SQL for a query.

            • The document.getElementById('ori').value; was changed to orgi
            • Got the .value from the elements

As I said in the comments it seems like a clear case of model underfitting - you have too little data for the size of the model itself. Rather than playing around with the sizes of layers, just try SVM or RandomForest classifiers first and see if it's even possible to get any reasonable classification with your data. Also with this amount of data neural network is hardly ever a good choice.

            So do this instead:

The main problem with your function is that in the working example you're applying it to a Javascript Object, while your TREE_DATA is a Javascript Array.

With that said, if you use the Object.keys() method on an array, it will return the indexes of the elements in your array. E.g. Object.keys([10,20,30]); // returns ['0','1','2']

Your buildFileTree should be modified as follows

You just need to set bulletX = characterX + 20 once - when the bullet is fired. Currently you set it to that with each while run loop iteration, which is why its position is getting updated constantly. So, if you removed that, and updated the X position only when needed, this is how that part of your code could look:

            Assigning into connectors
            Asked 2020-Oct-17 at 18:46

I'm missing something elementary about Modelica connectors in that anytime a model assigns into a flange, I end up with too many equations. It seems the translator, in resolving the connections, adds equations that I don't want(/need), torpedoing the compilation.

In OMEdit 1.16 this model fails with 10 equations, 9 unknowns:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Oct-17 at 18:46

Your observation is correct, connect equations are translated into normal equations.
The defintion of flange looks like this:

In balanced physical connectors, you always have the same number of flow variables (with prefix flow, also know as "through" variables) and potential variables (without prefix, also known as "across" variables). This is discussed e.g. in this paper: https://www.modelica.org/events/modelica2008/Proceedings/sessions/session1a3.pdf

Flow and potential variables are translated into equations, in analogy to Kirchhoff's laws:

            • the sum of flow variables (e.g. torque, or mass flow, or current) in a connection point is zero,
            • the potential variables (e.g. phi, or pressure, or voltage) are equal.

I recommend reading this and the following chapter of Michael Tiller's book: https://mbe.modelica.university/components/connectors/

event is local to the first for loop. and after the loop ends event will be out of scope. if event.type == pygame.KEYDOWN and event.key == pygame.K_UP and igralec.y > 10: igralec.y -= 5 is outside the for loop which is the reason for this error.

            Answered 2020-Jun-09 at 17:31

I thought that the following has helped me with the issue:

What has helped was splitting the Counter Consumer into two parts fully equivalent (from my perspective) to the single consumer implementation:

The message counts reported by peek() on both Consumer inputs show expected number of messages.

But it turned out that the results were non-deterministic. Every next run was producing different result, which sometimes still didn't match.

I found and deleted the following temporary folders that get created during the test run:

            • /tmp/kafka-streams/* (they all were empty)
            • /var/folders/ms/pqwfgz297b91gw_b8xymf1l00000gn/T/spring* (these look to be temporary folders of the embedded Kafka)

After that, I cannot reproduce the issue with the same code yet.

The temporary directory that I had to clean is creates in the spring-kafka-test EmbeddedKafkaBroker:

            https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-kafka/blob/master/spring-kafka-test/src/main/java/org/springframework/kafka/test/EmbeddedKafkaBroker.java#L329

I would expect that this folder gets automatically deleted on gracious unit tests exit?

That is probably responsibility of Kafka itself, but the similar bug there looks to be already fixed: KAFKA-1258

I have set the Kafka broker log.dir to "target/kafka" in
