vue modal dropping frames when using transitions
            Asked 2022-Feb-20 at 22:57

I wrote a custom vue modal and it works perfectly fine on my pc but it keeps dropping frames on some mobile devices. It seems to be related to the transitions - without it works as expected (but looks and feels bad).

Even a transition with opacity 1 to opacity 0 causing lag in this case. (Any animation causing lag)

It's really simple code so it should work on every device - even mid range devices like the Samsung M31 can't display the animation without lag. (Even when the transition is only opacity or scale)

Have you tried the will-change property?

The will-change property in CSS optimizes animations by letting the browser know which properties and elements are just about to be manipulated, potentially increasing the performance of that particular operation.

pbPlots graph png file is unreadable C++
            Asked 2021-Oct-07 at 22:43

I have recently been working on a simple SIR Epidemic Simulation, and wanted to use pbPlots to visualize the data. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work correctly. Every time I run my code and go to open the png file, it just says that the file is unreadable or corrupted. I also noticed that the file size is only 65 bytes, which is smaller than the usual 180KB.

            Here's my code:

I finally figured out how to get it to work. Apparently you can't use the same vector in multiple ScatterPlotSeries, and you also can't use a variable to determine the length of the vector. Clearly this is a terrible library, so I will be searching around for a new one.

Image showing sideways with TCPDF PHP library
            Asked 2020-Jun-10 at 00:25

I'm using the TCPDF PHP library to generate PDF documents that contain photos. For some reason, some of the photos appear correctly on my computer and on the web, but when I place that image on the PDF, it appears to be sideways. This only happens to some images. Most of the images appear correctly.

Here's a sample image that's displaying sideways on the PDF but normally on the web and my computer:

Here's what the image looks like on the web:

I fixed this by using the following code (as suggested by Chris Haas). It will detect the orientation from the EXIF data and will rotate it based on the orientation value. This is done when the image is uploaded.

For the nats moleculer, this is message transport. Messages themselves work according to the protocol. Answer: this cannot be done with a simple message. It is necessary to implement the protocol completely.
