How to use custom delegate for xib in swift?
            Asked 2021-Jun-10 at 06:30

I want to use inputAccessoryView to add custom number buttons above the keyboard. And I have added the view. I have assigned the class CustomKeyboard to the xib file. Within the CustomKeyboard class file, I have connected the IBAction of the buttons. I have two textFields in my ViewController textField1 & textFiled2 & I have associated inputAccessoryView with textField1. When I am tapping on textField1 then my custom buttons are shown above the keyboard. My goal is when I tap on my custom button it should enter the value in textFild2. But I really don't have any idea how would I achieve this. Anybody has some idea plz help me out.

            Answered 2021-Jun-10 at 06:30

You can use delegates or closures to get call back from CustomKeyboard to ViewController. Example below uses delegate method and function rowTapped will be called when user taps on view.

How to add UIContextMenuInteraction to button on Xamarin Forms?
            Asked 2021-Jun-02 at 08:13

I need to add a context menu to a button for Xamarin iOS. I found an example on the apple developer site.

So I need to do quite a similar context menu but it should be anchored to the button element.

I created control and named it InteractionButton

            Answered 2021-Jun-02 at 08:13

I test with the following code it works fine , just long click on the button it will shows the menu .

Is it possible to override a view modifier from a custom view?
            Asked 2021-May-25 at 18:00

Is it possible to override your own default modifier on a custom View? If not, is there any fancy way to adjust this without using an init?

            Example ...

            Answered 2021-May-25 at 17:10

To make your MainView work we can use extension with custom implementation of font modifier, explicit for CustomView.

Here is a demo of approach (prepared & tested with Xcode 12.5 / iOS 14.5)

Jetpack compose code to scroll down to the position of a specific UI element on clicking a Text

            Answered 2021-May-18 at 17:37

You can use the onGloballyPositioned modifier to retrieve the position of a composable and then use the method scrollState.animateScrollTo to scroll to that position.

            Something like:

Recyclerview with Tablelayout On row click listner not working in android
            Asked 2021-May-24 at 09:21

Hi in the below code I was implemented recyclerview with tablelayout .when On click of the table row I have written my code. But below this is showing an error

Can any one help me where I did the mistake

            patientListAdapter = new PatientListAdapter(requireContext(),getRegisterdPatientList,this); recycler_view.setAdapter(patientListAdapter);//error at this

            java: popup:

            Answered 2021-May-21 at 13:22

your Activity or Fragment (which holds RecyclerView and adapter) isn't implementing PatientListAdapter.SelectIemClickListner, instead there is an View.OnClickListener implementation. you should add SelectIemClickListner after coma, implement needed method (mySelectIemListner(int i)) and then try to build an app

some sample how it should look for and Activity

How to align image with text in SwiftUI
            Asked 2021-May-14 at 13:11

The code below is from a simple SwiftUI ContentView. It displays an image and text, but the image stretches taking the starting position.

            Answered 2021-May-14 at 13:11

I don't exactly understand the "...image stretches taking the starting position". However, here is a basic test with your code adding ".fixedSize()". What exactly do you think is not correct with the results?

            UICollectionViewListCell Accessory TopTrailing Placement
            Asked 2021-May-06 at 19:44

iOS 14 introduced a bunch of advancements for UICollectionView including the new UICollectionViewListCell. Using the defaultContentConfiguration, you can add accessory views to the cell. I'm looking to recreate an iMessage conversation row (mail is also close) where the date label is in the top trailing corner. Is there anyway to do this using the default configuration? Having to create a custom cell seems like overkill just for this.

Here is what I currently have.

            Answered 2021-May-06 at 19:44

The default UICollectionViewListCell has limited customization possibilities.

Your best shot is with a custom UICollectionViewCell subclass. You will instead have the cell registration register your custom class, and dequeue cells the same way you would dequeue a built-in UICollectionViewListCell class object.

Make custom view use layout weight
            Asked 2021-Apr-30 at 18:04

I'm trying to make an android app which has the following layout

            Answered 2021-Apr-30 at 18:04

You should be using a height/width of 0dp when using weights. Using wrap_content sometimes causes unexpected results.

Android Studio: Load ImageView after layout change to proper layout
            Asked 2021-Apr-28 at 08:59

I have an Activity that will scroll through a list of pictures, showing either a fullscreen picture (by default, when entering the activity) or the picture with some details below it. I do that by changing the visibility of the FrameLayout containing the details.

When the picture is in fullscreen, I want to see all of it, so I load it with Glide as such; when I want to see the details, I load it with centerCrop(). The problem is that when I want to reload the picture (from fullscreen mode to details mode), the imageView keeps the old layout, and uses centerCrop() on that (since the example is a screenshot from the same device, it does nothing).

If I just scroll to the next picture and back while in details mode, it works as intended. I tried some of the stuff from other posts (AsyncTast, invalidate, requestLayout), but none seem to work.

On swiping upwards from the fullscreen mode:

            The layout of the activity:

            Answered 2021-Apr-28 at 08:59

Figured it out (kind of), so I thought I'd write it for anyone in the same situation. Since what you need is for the activity to recalculate the layouts and then run the code related to loading in the picture, it works if you use a handler, like so:
