QUESTION
Docker noob here...
I am trying to build and run an IBM DataPower container from a Dockerfile, but it doesn't seem to work the same as when just running docker run
and passing the same parameters in the terminal.
This works (docker run

Answered 2017-Sep-08 at 15:02I have tested your Dockerfile and it seems to be working. My auto-startup.cfg
file is copied in the proper location and when I launch the container it's reading the file.
I get this output:

I installed Docker Toolbox on Windows 7 64 Bit. And then i followed the instructions in the link https://developer.ibm.com/datapower/docker/
docker pull ibmcom/datapower:latest
After the download completes, the DataPower image appears in my registry.
When i type the following command it does not respond it waits forever.

Install DRouter
You can use DRouter like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the DRouter component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
