Is there a way to load text data to database in PostgreSQL?
            Asked 2020-Jan-06 at 00:49

I want to extract information from a text file (almost 1GB) and store it in PostgreSQL database. Text file is in following format:

An approach I use with my large XML files - 130GB or bigger - is to upload the whole file into a temporary unlogged table and from there I extract the content I want. Unlogged tables are not crash-safe, but are much faster than logged ones, which totally suits the purpose of a temporary table ;-)

            LetsEncrypt challenges and SRV records
            Asked 2018-Jan-15 at 18:38

The SRV record allows hosting a service for a specific domain (commonly XMPP) on a different host than the A/AAAA record indicates. However, from what I can read in the documentation, the host that provides a service must still have a certificate authorizing it for the original domain name.

So: Is there any good solution that would allow me to run a secure XMPP server and an HTTP server for the same domain on different hosts?

As an example, consider this zone for example.com:

            Ah.

LetsEncrypt supports other challenges that don't rely on the A record; specifically a DNS challenge: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-acme-acme-01#section-7.5

This merely requires the XMPP server to have access to the DNS registrar's API to allow it to temporarily set a TXT record.
