kandi X-RAY | IBM Summary

IBM is a JavaScript library typically used in Telecommunications, Media, Telecom, Mobile, iOS applications. IBM has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

I started at IBM in July 2015 as a Developer Advocate focused on Mobile Foundation - a set of native SDKs for iOS/Android focused mostly on security and integration with cloud resources. When a product team wanted to release a mobile feature, it was required that they use Mobile Foundation. This sent a lot of varied work my way in the form of reviewing code and UI/UX patterns. This work in turn often supplied me with a steady stream varied content ideas to share with the community.

Word toc show levels adjustment using VBA
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 18:01

I'm fairly new to VBA in general, but currently I'm working on publishing a document utilizing IBM's Rational Publishing Engine which publishes a document out of DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System). After publishing there are a series of macros that are utilized to expandOLEs, merge paragraphs, centerFigures, etc. I'm looking to add a macro that will adjust my table of contents to only show levels 2. I was thinking something like the below would work, but have not had much success.

Tables of Contents in Word are, themselves, fields.

They do not, generally, contain fields. They do have switches.

Running the following code adds a switch limiting the TOC to levels 1 and 2.

How to checkout a branch in Clearcase?
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 13:07

I've been using git my entire development life, and just recently got assigned to an antiquated sourcebase that is unfortunately still using IBM Clearcase for Windows for its version control. I've been struggling to get a grasp on the basics, mostly because there are many things that don't have a clear analog to git, and there isn't much support available for Clearcase since nearly every business no longer uses it.

My main problem is I can't figure out how to checkout a different branch. I've created a snapshot view of a VOB(so in git terms, a local repo cloned from a remote), and I believe I'm on the master branch. I'm looking at it in Rational ClearCase Explorer. I then open up the "Type Explorer", select the VOB I'm working with, and select "branch types". From here I can see every single branch that's been created.

Let's say I want to check out branch "my_branch". I don't see any appropriate selection from the context menu upon right-click in this Clearcase explorer. The only options are "Clone", "Delete", "Rename" and "Properties". From cleartool, I run the command

Note: I have documented the main difference between Git and ClearCase in "What are the basic clearcase concepts every developer should know?" back in 2009.

You do not "checkout" a branch.
You list a set of config select rules with version selectors, like:

How to connect to IBM MQ deployed to OpenShift?
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 11:05

I have a container with IBM MQ (Docker image ibmcom/mq/9.2.2.0-r1) exposing two ports (9443 - admin, 1414 - application).

All required setup in OpenShift is done (Pod, Service, Routes).

There are two routes, one for each port.

pointing to the ports accordingly (external ports are default http=80, https=443).

Admin console is accessible through the first route, hence, MQ is up and running.

I tried to connect as a client (JMS 2.0, com.ibm.mq.allclient:9.2.2.0) using standard approach:

I'm not sure to fully understand your setup, but"Routes"only route HTTP traffic (On ports 80 or 443 onyl), not TCP traffic.
If you want to access your MQ server from outside the cluster, there are a few solutions, one is to create a service of type: "NodePort"

Your Service is not a NodePort Service. In your case, it should be something like

As Vladimir Botka stated on the comment, ansible does that already. Most modules (including the user module) will ensure that the state you specify will be present on the machine, after ansible ran.
For example, if you specify that a certain user exists on the system, it will after you ran the playbook. It will be created if it didn't exist before, but it will not be added, if it already existed.

The catch is, that ansible will try to create the state you specified, possibly changing your existing users.
For example, let's assume your user already exists, but has changed the default shell to /bin/zsh while in your playbook you specify, that it should have /bin/bash. In that case, ansible will change the default shell to /bin/bash whenever you run your playbook.

If you don't care about existing users being modified (or you are sure they never will be) you can just run the user module for all users every time, as users will not be added twice.
Otherwise you can do this to check if a user exists and only add it if it does not:

Mulesoft IBM MQ connector publish-consume operation equivalent in Mule 3.9?

Seems Mule 4 has a connector called IBM MQ connector which has a publish conume operation to achieve this - https://docs.mulesoft.com/ibm-mq-connector/1.6/ibm-mq-publish-consume. But how do i get this done in Mule 3.9.2. I'm currently trying to get this done with the WMQ connector and using a request-reply pattern but with no success.

The log shows that the ResourcesPlugin is being found but its plug-in activator is getting a null pointer exception when it tries to get the IContentTypeManager.

The content type manager is provided using OSGi declarative services but you have not included org.apache.felix.scr which deals with this.

So at a minimum you need to include org.apache.felix.scr and start it in the section:

You appear to be using Db2-v11 for Z/OS "DSN11015" in V11 compatibility mode.

This version lacks the scalar function HASH_SHA256 (and others) which is present in Db2-v12 for z/OS. That is the reason you get sqlcode -440 (no such function HASH...) with your Db2-for-z/os version.

At Version-11 , IBM documents a function ENCRYPT_TDES which may help you.

Background information on using this function.

You can write your own functions if you have the skills.
