In the python module integration_tests
I have a script to run my tests via pytest in the file run_tests.py

ANSWER
Answered 2021-Nov-27 at 11:49I didn't know that I can use the -m
module switch twice. So now I added the -m pytest
switch to the entrypoint command with the ptvsd debugging option.
Now this command runs the visual studio debugger and calls the tests.
I couldn't debug the tests using the pytest.main
call because it creates a seperate thread.
QUESTION
I wrote a ChatOps bot for the open source collaboration tool Mattermost using this framework. Now I want to write some integration tests and run them. When I follow the steps to run the integration tests from their project, they won't succeed. I used the command pytest --capture=no --log-cli-level=DEBUG .
to run the integration tests.
It fails because localhost:8065
is not available yet after running the command docker-compose up -d
. Anybody knows what I'm doing wrong?
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Nov-23 at 15:25Are you on Linux, Mac, or Windows? I think network_mode: host
only works on Linux.
Try to edit the docker-compose.yml
file, remove the network mode "host", and add a port mapping, something like this:

QUESTION
I have a simple multi-module Java Gradle project. The unit tests run fine, but I'm unable to add a working source set for integration tests. The tests are compiled (I see compile errors), and appear in the console output, but they are not executed (the existing tests should fail).
Furthermore, in IntelliJ IDEA, the source set is shown, but not as a test module.
I see the "run" icons in the gutter next to the tests, but running a test gives
> No tests found for given includes: [de.cotto.integration_tests.moduletwo.ModuleTest.name](filter.includeTestsMatching)
.
My questions:
- What do I need to change in order to make the test(s) run (using
./gradlew build
)? - How can I make IntelliJ IDEA pick up the source set as a "test" module?
- How can I run the tests from IntelliJ IDEA?
- Bonus points for Java 14 with modules (commit)

module, but not integrationTest

QUESTION
I am sorry, but I am so lost that I'm not sure how to frame the question. If you have a suggestion for a better title, please let me know.
I researched type ascription, and found that it is the ability to annotate an expression with the type we want it to have.
I defined the following trait and function. From my limited understanding, I am specifying the type to be u16

ANSWER
Answered 2020-May-01 at 03:35This is the main difference between initializing a struct and calling a function in Rust. When initializing a struct, the fields are named (assuming the struct has named fields), but named arguments are currently unsupported for functions.
To call Confine::new
, simply leave out the min:
, max:
and cursor:

Install integration_tests
You can use integration_tests like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
