QUESTION
I am trying to integrate the code in this answer (run snippet in question's answer to see an example) with the rest of the script below to allow the user to scroll down the sideButtons
selection menu by hovering in the bottom or top areas of the selection menu. However, I'm not sure how to write the requestAnimationFrame
function for it to work with the rest of the object structure or where to place it.
Attached to the sideButtons
' mouseMove
eventListener
function are two hitTest
's: 'lowerHoverBoxHitTest(x, y)
' and 'upperHoverBoxHitTest(x, y)
'. These detect if the top or bottom half of the selection menu is being hovered over. If so, hoverAmount
should be incremented accordingly such that sideButtons
is pushed up or down depending on which hoverBox
is selected. However, this part - which must (I think) occur within the requestAnimationFrame
function - is not working in the code above.
If it is still not clear how the animation should work please see the attached link above. It should be clear that it is not currently working properly... Any help will be much appreciated.

QUESTION
I have added some code to my website built using a Divi builder, in purpose add animated image caption hover effect, on grid of images - four in row. Everything look great, except when I resize screen: then images starts to overlap.
I have made a lot of research and played with a code but i cant solve this issue. Please help me to find what part of CSS code stands for this overlapping?

...ANSWER
Answered 2017-Apr-14 at 21:49The problem is that you manually set the width of .box and .overbox to 250px;
There grid is responsive and should resize the images as you resize the window, giving them fixed width makes them too big and that's why they overlap.
Try giving .box and .overbox width:auto;
and notice what happens.

Install overbox
On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.
