Unable to push a docker image to local OpenShift Origin registry
            Asked 2017-Aug-11 at 13:02

The goal is to be able take a Docker image on my laptop and push it to the OpenShift Origin image registry (started by oc cluster up) to do local development. It's not clear if I'm doing something wrong or there's a bug in Docker or OpenShift Origin. For those unfamiliar with OpenShift Origin:

Any illuminating information would be appreciated. Here's what I've tried so far:

There are potentially a couple of issues which can affect when trying to push docker images.

Before we get to that, usually the way to give access to the internal image registry would be to expose it using a route. Since using an IP as you were only applies to oc cluster up, will show how to use a route instead, that way more generic.

For oc cluster up, you would run:

About an error when instantiating a Kafka node within openshift

i am playing with open shift in my local machine and when I try to deploy a Kafka node using this recipe, but I am getting this exception:

I do not know what is happening, Kafka talked successfully to Zookeeper, I can see in this log, but after that, this exception, clearly insufficient, i mean, where Kafka is trying to write? which user is trying to write?

Based on the content of the kafka.yaml file, looks like it tries to write to the /tmp/kafka-logs directory.

For a list of DNS addresses to override on your DNS server, refer to uklans/cache-domains, or the individual nginx configuration files in this repo.
To build and run, do:. start.sh will make a /data/ directory to store logs and cache data in.
curl sudo bash is terrible, but you're trusting my code anyway :)
