EPSG:2193 has coordinates in metres so it is unlikely that your values (174.82726, -41.16671) are in that projection, it is much more likely that they are in degrees (WGS84, EPGS:4326). So you need to transform your point to compare them to polygons in EPSG:2193, thus your SQL should be something like:

            Asked 2021-Oct-26 at 12:41

            I've been following this tutorial.

I am working on a VM which, due to company's policy can't be connected to Internet, so I modified step Shapefile download in Loading data section. I downloaded required .zip archives (specified in external-data.yml) to different machine and copied it via pscp. I also modified the Python script get-external-data.py to just unzip files, not try to download them.

Expected behavior is to load shapefiles into prepared postgres database.

            Actual behavior is the following:

            Answered 2021-Oct-14 at 00:40

            See the OGR Geometry docs:

            GetM(Geometry self, int point=0)

By default, just calling line_geom.GetM() will return the measure for the first point - default point=0 argument.

For the multilinestring, you need to get each individual geometry, before getting the points and measures.

            Estimating Mapbox tile processing costs
            Asked 2021-Apr-28 at 08:54

We're using ogr2ogr and tippecanoe to generate MBTILES files and then uploading them to Mapbox. This incurs Mapbox's recent-ish tile processing and hosting costs.

We've been hit by a couple of surprise bills. We can work around this by following the advice on https://docs.mapbox.com/help/troubleshooting/manage-tileset-costs/#how-do-i-lower-my-tileset-processing-costs.

But there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to estimate tile processing costs before the upload occurs. I'd like to display the tileset's kilometers squared figure, resolution, and calculate a cost to show to our team before the upload occurs.

Does anyone know how this could be achieved?

CockroachCloud Free is in Beta and is missing some features (the stated reason for still being in beta).

You can find more details in the FAQ which mentions restrictions in two answers. Both answers spell out the lack of support for IMPORT (emphasis mine):

            Limitations of CockroachCloud Free:

CockroachCloud Free is currently in beta and there are capabilities we are still working on enabling, such as the ability to enable backups, to import data, and no-downtime upgrades to a paid tier. If you want to use any of these capabilities, try a 30-day trial of CockroachCloud.

Why is CockroachCLoud Free in Beta:

CockroachCloud Free is in beta while we work on adding core features like import and backups.

You will need to find an alternate way of loading your data such as creating the resources and inserting the data yourself.
