Code for probability calibration for classification
            Asked 2021-Jun-11 at 14:06

I am trying to create a class for calibrating a classifier. I have been reading resources on probability calibration and I am a bit confused on which dataset should we calibrate the classifier. I created a class that split the training set to further train and validation the set. Then, the classifier is first fitted to the train set and predicts the uncalibrated probability on the validation set.

Then, I create a cal_model instance of the CalibrationCV class and then fit it to the validation set and predict calibrated probabilities of the validation set again.

Could someone take a look at the code below and correct the code for me?

the calibration_curve code is correct. I am comparing the logistic regression calibration versus the xgboost calibration. the dataframes hold predict_proba[:,1] values or the probability of happening. see (https://github.com/dnishimoto/python-deep-learning/blob/master/Credit%20Loan%20Risk%20.ipynb)

Filter an array of objects based on another [TS/JS]
            Asked 2021-Jun-10 at 16:13

I have two dropdowns - where each dropdown should filter an objects key. The dropdowns should not exclude each other, or both values from dropdown should work indenpentedly from each other (ie both dropdown values does not need to be true for filtering).

When I select an item from the dropdown, I get one array with two objects, for each dropdown:

It's not the prettiest code, but it does work. The one thing that you'd want to watch out for is the regex. It would be better to not have to parse and do a straight match like category, but if your cases are static then you should be able to figure out if this will work every time. It would also be nice to have a field key in filterDetails so you know which field to try to match in the actual data and you could program that in.

In a dict when you asing something to a key that doesnt exists, it is appended and then the content is added. If you want do substitute some key you have to delete it first.
Use pop for that (yourdict.pop ("key to delete")), then you can add the other key normally.

Required tolerance for camera calibration target
            Asked 2021-Jun-02 at 21:22

In reading about and experimenting with camera calibration I haven't seen any mention of the required tolerance for the placement of calibration targets. For example say I have a field of view of 200mm x 30mm and I want to be able to measure the position of objects in this field to within 1mm. I will calibrate my camera using a grid pattern and the OpenCV calibrateCamera flow. Say my calibration target is a printed chessboard grid with 5mm pitch. What is the tolerance on that 5mm spacing between corners on my target? Does a tighter tolerance result in more accurate pixel to real-world transformation? Does a tighter tolerance result in better distortion removal? Note I'm measuring objects on a 2D plane, no depth measurement, and unfortunately I don't have the ability to move the calibration targets around and take multiple views of it. So I'm talking specifically about calibrating using a single view.

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-02 at 21:22

Calibration using a single view is a poor idea, generally speaking, because of the small number of independent samples it entails, so it is possible that tolerance on the calibration grid manufacture be the least of your worries. But if you must...

The controlling factor here is the sensor's dot pitch. Given the nominal focal length of your lens, and that you want your calibration RMSE to be order of a few tenths of pixel, you can work out the angle spanned by, say, 1/10 of a pixel along the sensor's horizontal axis. Back projecting that at the nominal distance between the lens's exit pupil and the target will give you a length in 3D world that measures the uncertainty in a target's corner location at the calibration optimum. Your physical target points should be known at least as accurately, and normally better.

Example: Setup: Dot pitch 5um, 16mm focal lens, 200mm working distance to target.

            • Backprojected 1/10 pixel: 200/16*0.5um =~ 6um.
            • Backprojected 1/2 pixel : 200/16*2.5um =~ 31um.

You can loosen that if you assume perfect Chi-square scaling of the errors with the square root of the number of the data points. If you have, say, 100 corners, you can multiply that by 10, i.e. ~ 300um for 1/2 pixel

Note that with this kind of tolerances temperature control (for camera and target) may become a factor to keep into account.

            Answered 2021-May-25 at 16:54

File upload inputs are handled a little differently in a Laravel request than other types of inputs. For example, a text input when empty will still be present in $request->input(). On the other hand, an empty file input is not set in $request->input() or $request->file().

Your sample rule, 'Equipment_Cert.*' => 'required' means "for every field in the Equipment_Cert array on this request, it should have a value". But because empty file inputs are stripped from the request, there is no Equipment_Cert array, so there are no elements in that array for this rule to be applied to.

If you want to make sure that there is a file element uploaded for every row in your dynamic form, you could do something like this:

How to create raw synthethic images
            Asked 2021-May-23 at 13:32

I want to perform the color calibration of my camera. That's why I search demosaic algorithm, which can provide the closest color to color of a real object. That's why I want:

            • create synthetic images in OpenCV with known colors
            • mosaic it
            • pass it in an algorithm for estimation of efficiency

I use libraw for unpacking raw images and OpenCV for processing and storing them.

So, the question is, is there a library that can provide me different demosaic algorithms(i am ready to convert my synthetic image from Mat to C-style array) where I can pass my mosaic image and receive demosaic image. I think that it is possible to convert my image from tiff to dng and use RawTherapee for demosaicing, but it looks more complicated.

The process, as @JaesungChung answered is well done.

My problem was on the application which was running the .tflite model. I quantized my model output to uint8, so I had to reescale my obtained values to get the right results.

I.e. I had 10 objects because I was requesting all the detected objects with an score above 0.5. My results were no scaled, so the detected objects scores could be perfectly 104. I had to reescale that number dividing by 255.

The same happened when graphing my results. So I had to divide that number and multiplicate by the height and width.

On select of date on FullCalendar, the click accuracy is miscalibrated
            Asked 2021-May-16 at 06:07

I have not found another question quite like this. There are some similar with solutions like "be sure and include 'prev' and 'next' buttons" and things about timezones etc. I do not believe there is any issue with the logic or time zone or code on the backend. When I click on existing events, they work fine. I can click, drag, drop, edit, retrieve popup modal, etc. But when I click on an empty space in a date, it is inaccurate. I can see it visually selecting the wrong box. This is the case for every day of the month. The click is accurate in the top left 25% of the box. The bottom and left 75% is off by one box in that direction.

Look at May 18. red: works perfect yellow: selects 19th blue: selects 26th green: selects 25th

It is like a strange calibration issue. But if I click on an event, even if it is at the bottom of that box, like Thomas on May 5, it works just fine. Below is my js file.
