            Different model on speech recognition

            I have tried so much time to run this example project https://github.com/tensorflow/examples/tree/master/lite/examples/speech_commands/ml and finally produced this tflite model https://imgur.com/bVpesdd using convert_keras_lite.py inside export direcory.However, i checked the tflite model inside assets directory in this android project https://github.com/tensorflow/examples/tree/master/lite/examples/speech_commands/android. I found that the tflite model is different with the first one. https://imgur.com/7Cn69qx.

            I tried to replace the tflite model inside assets android directory to the first tflite model, but the app suddenly crashed with this error code in Android Studio logcat:

            Okay I did not solve the problem yet but I think I discovered some things that may help:

            Firstly, there is other code for a speech command example that is in the TensorFlow repo itself (not the dedicated example repo): https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/tree/master/tensorflow/examples/speech_commands

            It does not use keras like the one you are using and has no information about tflite conversion, so I guess that example was created before tflite was around. After looking at the architecture of the (conv) model that was used there, I found out that it is the same architecture as the prepackaged tflite model in the android project and it matches the second imgur link you posted.

            So it pretty much looks like the tflite model in the android project is a conversion of the model in the old example. And the model that results from https://github.com/tensorflow/examples/tree/master/lite/examples/speech_commands/ml is not compatible with the android code at all, since the inputs are different.

            And that is not surprising since the android code is pretty much copy paste from the old examples android code with a few tweaks for tflite usage.

            So I guess the best take is to work on the old ml code and convert the resulting frozen pb graph to tflite.

            I used lite Converter to convert my model of pb format to tflite format in terminal but it didn't work well.

            But when I used the tflite model provided by speech command android demo, it works pretty well. So I want to know how this model was converted?

            I would like to follow tensorflow example to build generate_streaming_test_wav to generate test wav. And my bazel version is 0.16.1.

            The problem is when I use command bazel run tensorflow/examples/speech_commands:generate_streaming_test_wav , the following error message shown up:

            This might be a bug in Bazel's repository rules. If you'd be so kind to file a bug, that'd be great!

            As a workaround, extract the downloaded archive somewhere and replace the io_bazel_rules_closure rule in the WORKSPACE file with a local_repository rule pointing to the directory where you extracted the archive.

            Tensorflow train.py cannot be found

            I'm trying to follow this tutorial

            I have Tensorflow installed (I've done it with Pip, Conda, and Docker, all saying it was successful). When I try to execute

            python tensorflow/examples/speech_commands/train.py it always says that "python: can't open file 'tensorflow/examples/speech_commands/train.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory". I searched my Mac for train.py and see one instance located at /Users/me/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages/tensorflow/contrib/gan/python. I cd to that directory and try to do docker run -it --rm tensorflow/tensorflow \python train.py but it still says the same thing ([Errno 2] No such file or directory".

            I'm guessing it's some sort of installation issue, but I don't know how to fix it. I've literally tried every way I can find to install Tensorflow and none of them seem to work so I'm reaching out here for guidance.

            Have you synced the TensorFlow repository? The tutorial starts with "To begin the training process, go to the TensorFlow source tree" so the implied assumption is that you have in fact got the source.

            When you use Dataset.map(map_func), TensorFlow defines a subgraph for all the ops created in the function map_func, and arranges to execute it efficiently in the same session as the rest of your graph. There is almost never any need to create a tf.Graph or tf.Session inside map_func: if your parsing function is made up of TensorFlow ops, these ops can be embedded directly in the graph that defines the input pipeline.

            In order to pass arguments to the binary under bazel run, you'll need to include an additional -- before your args, or else Bazel will parse those as arguments for itself.
