            QUESTION

Python Object Changing For No Apparent Reason
            Asked 2021-Sep-28 at 04:04

Edit: I'm very stupid - forgot that I declared keys twice. Declaring the same key twice will not throw an error; it will overwrite the previously defined key.

I create a dict of various objects... Everytime I run the script (I have checked that the file updating), the second index of the first few objects in the dict are changed. I am not changing them anywhere in my code. I threw the dict and print into a separate python file with nothing else and I still got the same results.

            ...

You have duplicate keys in the dict defintion. In this case, the later values will override the earlier ones. For example:

            Install skyflower

Clone the project and and run npm i to install the dependencies. Now open config.json and enter a valid Discord bot token which you can obtain Here. Next you should run node upload-emojis to initiate the process for uploading the emojis the bot uses (you might want to create a dedicated emote server for this). You can now run npm start to start the bot. Invite the instance to your server by finding the bot's Client ID in your Discord developer console and pasting it into this Link: https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=CLIENT_ID&scope=bot&permissions=1073750016.
