QUESTION
I have a vue component which displays a gauge. I need to include units on the display and have this as one of the props of the component. However, because there are a number of gauges with different formatting it is all stored in a vuex store that reads its settings from an API. This all works nicely apart from when I want to bring special symbols (such as degree signs) across. The vuex object is storing the formatting object as:

QUESTION
I am relatively new to vue and have run into a small issue. I am rendering a component that depends on the state stored in vuex. I load this information in from a json file in the main part of the app. It all works fine if I always land on the root (index.html) of the app when it loads up. However, if I refresh the app from a page that is dynamically generated from the router I hit an error:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Jul-07 at 08:56It seems you already got where the issue is. When you land on you main entry point, the axios call is triggered and you have all the data you need in the store. But if you land on the component itself, the axios call does not get triggered and your store is empty.
To solve you can add some conditional logic to your component, to do an axios call if the required data is undefined or empty.
QUESTION
I am creating a dashboard app that fetches data from an endpoint and uses the setState method to assign variables from the JSON returned by the endpoint to state variables. When I make a change to state, some components like 'react-svg-gauge' will update but 'react-chartjs-2' does not update.
The below code is an example of how my state changes in my actual app. This example will display the correct value of the state variables in the chrome developer console but does not update the DOM accordingly.

directory and reinstall every dependency it should work as expected.
QUESTION
I want to use this package with React: https://github.com/naikus/svg-gauge
The example for React is using CreateReactClass
see below:
Do I need this? Why are they using this? The docs don't mention the reason behind using CreateReactClass
. Can you use this package w/o CreateReactClass?
ANSWER
Answered 2018-Jan-24 at 03:29Originally, React.createClass was the only way you declared components. Class components and functional stateless components were added later. With the release of React 16, React.createClass was removed, but it was moved to the separate create-react-class package to make upgrading easier on codebases that relied heavily on React.createClass. You can read a bit more about the deprecation of React.createClass here
So the example for that project is just using the create-react-class package, but you should be able to use a class component instead.
QUESTION
I'm currently using: https://github.com/naikus/svg-gauge
I would like to customize the library to my specific needs, meaning I can't use the npm package like so as I need to customize the library:
...ANSWER
Answered 2018-Jan-25 at 19:19What you are doing is correct but I feel there might be some mismatch in your path.. If you use Webstorm/IntelliJ you can double check the path by ctrl+click the package and it'll take you to the file.

ANSWER
Answered 2017-Apr-04 at 01:27The problem is that the green arc is overlapping the red one.
This causes some red color in the antialiased border of the green arc, which makes it look bad:
For a quick test, make the red arc smaller, so the borders do not overlap:
The solution is to make sure the arcs do not overlap.
