How to dynamically switch color with Leaflet's pulse icon
            Asked 2020-Jul-21 at 07:00

Given my code below, I have added a non-pulsing marker to my map, using L.icon.pulse:

In Leaflet, instances of L.Marker don't have any .setStyle(), method, but they do have a .setIcon() method.

Therefore, you can create several instances of L.Icon and have your markers use one or the other, e.g.:

Child component is not updating by changing props

I am trying to use react-native-pulse, but having some difficulty about updating it. I use component on parent like this:

Updating the props not always updates the state of a component. The state is set in the constructor, which is called only once, if React doesn't deem necessary to rebuild the component. I would suggest you to implement a getDerivedStateFromProps function in your child component to manage better incoming props and new state: https://en.reactjs.org/docs/react-component.html#static-getderivedstatefromprops

React inline style not working with props

I am trying to control the attributes left and right with props but keep coming up with an error

"Syntax error: this is a reserved word"

I've tried several different methods (and looked at various examples on StackO) to solve my answer and keep coming up with error. I've shortened my code to get to the meat and potatoes here.

I have this in my App.js, it works with Pulse.js until I try to pass props
