QUESTION
Need to convert a multi-pages PDF
to print in Zebra
printer.
A solution in .NET C#
would be great.
2 input options: SATO
format or PDF
format
Two options I see:
- Convert the
PDF
Pages toBMP
Image then print it in aZebra
printer, but how to separate thePDF
Pages into multipleBMP
images?
Researching I found that ZEBRA has a PDF converter in this link, but the documentation is poor and does not explain properly.
https://www.zebra.com/ap/en/products/software/barcode-printers/link-os/pdf-virtual-device.html
- Convert the
SATO
commands toZPL
commands (I couldn't find anything like that on the web, and this would be the perfect solution.)
https://www.satoaustralia.com/products/printers.aspx
Any ideas how to do it or any link that helps to find the solution or tools?
...ANSWER
Answered 2018-Jul-16 at 21:23That PDF driver that Zebra sells allows you to use a ZPL command to send a PDF file to the printer like you would an image. It's not a PDF converter, but rather lets the printer receive and process a PDF document
QUESTION
I'm using the JavaScript code provided by Zebra technologies but I keep getting "an error occured". Is it only possible to print out Labels via Browser Print and not Cards? I am printing to a Zebra ZXP Series 3 Card Printer
I have attached the code I am using supplied by them.
Below is the sample code provided by them. It's called Browser Print
DevDemo.js & Index.html
...ANSWER
Answered 2017-Nov-27 at 16:34Browser Print only works with Zebra label and receipt printers. Card printers are not currently supported.
Cards can currently be printed via 3 methods. Drivers, .NET apps using the SDK, or Java apps using the Link-OS SDK.
