QUESTION
This might be me misunderstanding how Mongo works/new Go dev - but I'm not able to connect to my mongo instance from Go. When I connect to my Mongo instance using Studio 3T, I can connect just fine, browse the tables, etc. But If I try to connect using the Go module, it complains about not being able to find all the nodes. Is it necessary for it to be able to access all nodes? I thought the replica set itself was supposed to handle the replication?
For example, I have this Go code:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-08 at 12:12Do I actually need to expose all the replica sets as well?
Yes. Clients need to see all nodes in a replica set, so they can fail over when master goes down.

I'm final student who research and implement Openstack Victoria. When I configure Project: Octavia - Loadbalancer on multi-node - CentOS8, I have a issue. Seem like octavia.amphorae.drivers.haproxy.rest_api_driver couldn't connect to Amphora instance and port 9443 didn't run on my Network Node aka Octavia-API. In controller node, the amphora instance still running nornally. I follow https://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=CentOS_8&p=openstack_victoria4&f=11 to configure my lab. I created lb_net in type vxlan and lb-secgroup, when i use command to create lb it still pending-create:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-May-14 at 18:28Okay, my problem is fixed. The Octavia-api node can't connect to amphorae-instance because they do not match the same network type (node - LAN and amphorae - VXLAN). So, I create a bridge interface at a node to convert vxlan for lan can connect (You can read here at step 7: create a network).
Best regard!

I was trying to update to latest kotlin verion 1.4.30 an Apache Beam dataflow pipeline that is currently running with kotlin 1.4.21 but as soon as I upgrade build.gradle with version 1.4.30 the compilation fails with this exception:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Feb-24 at 11:09It causes by the Kotlin compiler.
Sorry for nuisance, I'm currently fixing that on the compiler's side. The fix will be available in Kotlin 1.5-M1.
Unfortunately, there are no normal workarounds here, since the problem occurs when reading class files (it's impossible to exclude the problematic logic in the mechanism for reading class files).
QUESTION
If I am using Kubernetes cluster to run spark, then I am using Kubernetes resource manager in Spark.
If I am using Hadoop cluster to run spark, then I am using Yarn resource manager in Spark.
But my question is, if I am spawning multiple linux nodes in kebernetes, and use one of the node as spark maste and three other as worker, what resource manager should I use? can I use yarn over here?
Second question, in case of any 4 node linux spark cluster (not in kubernetes and not hadoop, simple connected linux machines), even if I do not have hdfs, can I use yarn here as resource manager? if not, then what resource manager should be used for saprk?
Thanks.

Answered 2021-Feb-14 at 16:04if I am spawning multiple linux nodes in kebernetes,
Then you'd obviously use kubernetes, since it's available
in case of any 4 node linux spark cluster (not in kubernetes and not hadoop, simple connected linux machines), even if I do not have hdfs, can I use yarn here
You can, or you can use Spark Standalone scheduler, instead. However Spark requires a shared filesystem for reading and writing data, so, while you could attempt to use NFS, or S3/GCS for this, HDFS is faster

I am trying to install pypy3 to jupyter notebook but whilst doing it, it gives me an error at the source code bit during the cmd installation. I am on windows 10 64 bit system. Would this bit affect anything, from my backtests of large files the runtime has not been that much better in comparison to python which makes me believe that pypy is not working properly. I am trying to execute the answer to this previous question on stack overflow: enter link description here. even though that source PyPy3/bin/activate
bit of the code does not work, the pypy kernel shows up on jupyter notebook.

I'd like to match enums that have struct values. When I'm doing matching an enum, it seems I'm required to provide a value for the Enum field if it has one.
I'd like to set this value to A::default(), and reference the values of this default, but that gives me the error: expected tuple struct or tuple variant, found associated function `A::default
. How can I work around this? Playground
ANSWER
Answered 2020-Dec-30 at 22:00You don't care about the struct field value, so use ..

QUESTION
Creating a repo with a different default branch than master
is easy with git init --initial-branch=main myRepo
, or git config --global init.defaultBranch main
, for instance (see How can I create a Git repository with the default branch name other than "master"? for details).
I want the inverse: when building git scripts that need the name of the default integration branch, is the local git metadata aware of what this branch name is, so it can tell me, and if so, how do we get at that data?
I thought something like git rev-parse --abbrev-ref origin/HEAD
would work, but that just seems to show what the default branch was of the repo it was cloned from, at the time of cloning, provided that the remote we cloned from was named origin
.
ANSWER
Answered 2020-Nov-19 at 02:28This seems to work well in all edge cases I've tried it with locally:
git remote show $(git remote show|tail -1)|grep 'HEAD branch'|awk '{print $NF}'
