kandi X-RAY | away Summary
Away is a library to generate CLLocations with distance constraints, we build this pod while developing an application that uses core location library and needed to unit-test some features. At that point we didn't encounter something that would provide fake locations with distance constaints, so we decide to start working in Away while developing our app.

QUESTION
I'm trying to decrease the bundle size of my Vue project, which scaffolded by the vue-cli, by using CDN of firebase, Vue, and Vuetify.
So, I've added links of these CDN in public/index.html
as follow:
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-16 at 01:31If you are using vuetify from vue-cli-plugin-vuetify
(vue add vuetify
), treeshaking and auto component import is enabled by default, by using vuetify-loader
.
If you look into the source code of vue-cli-plugin-vuetify
, it only uses vuetify-loader
if it is present in your package.json
. So removing vuetify-loader
from package.json
should disable this behavior.

I am running some code on a STM32 chip which is logging to my uart port.
I am having a hard time finding the proper way to log an array of bytes. I wrote this function:

), then you could try out this implementation that uses the return from sprintf
to append to the string as your building it.

Update: Added a simpler demonstration jsfiddle, https://jsfiddle.net/47sfj3Lv/3/.
reproducing the problem in much less code I'm trying to move away from jQuery.
Some of my code, for populating some tables, has code like this
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 18:27This was difficult for me to understand, so I wanted to share if anyone else has the same issue.
It seems that an async method will break a method chain, there's no way around that. And since fetch is asynchronous, await must be used, and in order for await to be used, the calling method must be declared async. Thus the method chain will be broken.
The way the method chain is called must be changed.
In my OP, I linked https://jsfiddle.net/47sfj3Lv/3/ as a much simpler version of the same problem. StackOverflow's 'fiddle' effectively blocks 'fetch' for security reasons, so I need to use JSFiddle for demonstration.
Here's a working version of the same code using then
and how/why it works, and a slightly shorter version, because await can be specified with the the fetch, obviously.
QUESTION
I have a div which with long content and that is why the scrollbar is coming. I want when user click on a button. Then, the div scroll bar goes to end of the content. I tried this way but no luck.
I want to achieve this without using jQuery.

Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 15:58You don't actually need javascript. A simple link will do. You can also do it with javascript, but I see no reason to in this case.
This would work:
QUESTION
I am new to jQuery and built this code that I modified to make it work right away in fiddle etc.
When the select changes, it is supposed to create a table but it does not do anything. However, if I place the
it works. Any idea why?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 14:21Divs and selects aren't self-closing elements. They probably don't exist with respect to jQuery except where the browser attempts to close them for you. Fix that and it works.
QUESTION
I have a tab button that handles the chatbox functionality. By default it is closed and when clicked, expands into the chat box. When it is closed all the buttons around it work as intended, however, when expanded the buttons above it can no longer be clicked like there is a invisible div over them.
Here I will provide the pictures of what I am describing and the corresponding code.

Opened(plus sign button no longer working)

...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 13:20Your #olark-box-wrapper
is a div
with position:absolute; top: 0; height:100%; z-index:9999999999;
... no wonder it's taking up the full height of the right window area on top of everything else. And even though it's a transparent div
, mouse clicks are handled by the event handlers of that div
, not by those of the elements below it.
You could add pointer-events: none;
to that div, making it "transparent" to user interaction. You may have to add pointer-events: visible;
to its childs, to avoid the pointer-events: none;
attribute being inherited by the children.
Alternatively, you could change the layout so that the #olark-box-wrapper
is exactly the same height as its children.
One note about your choice of z-index
: this number might be a bit too high, see Minimum and maximum value of z-index? (tl;dr: keep it in the range of a signed 32-bit number).
QUESTION
SpringBoot v2.5.1
There is an endpoint requesting a long running process result and it is created somehow
(for simplicity it is Mono.fromCallable( ... long running ... )
.
Client make a request and triggers the publisher to do the work, but after several seconds client aborts the request (i.e. connection is lost). And the process still continues to utilize resources for computation of a result to throw away.
What is a mechanism of notifying Project Reactor's event loop about unnecessary work in progress that should be cancelled?
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 09:06fromCallable
doesn't shield you from blocking computation inside the Callable
, which your example demonstrates.
The primary mean of cancellation in Reactive Streams is the cancel()
signal propagated from downstream via the Subscription
.
Even with that, the fundamental requirement of avoiding blocking code inside reactive code still holds, because if the operators are simple enough (ie. synchronous), a blocking step could even prevent the propagation of the cancel()
signal...
A way to adapt non-reactive code while still getting notified about cancellation is Mono.create
: it exposes a MonoSink
(via a Consumer
) which can be used to push elements to downstream, and at the same time it has a onCancel
handler.
You would need to rewrite your code to eg. check an AtomicBoolean
on each iteration of the loop, and have that AtomicBoolean flipped in the sink's onCancel
handler:

QUESTION
I have master-slave (primary-standby) streaming replication set up on 2 physical nodes. Although the replication is working correctly and walsender and walreceiver both work fine, the files in the pg_wal
folder on the slave node are not getting removed. This is a problem I have been facing every time I try to bring the slave node back after a crash. Here are the details of the problem:
postgresql.conf on master and slave/standby node
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 15:00You didn't describe omitting pg_replslot during your rsync, as the docs recommend. If you didn't omit it, then now your replica has a replication slot which is a clone of the one on the master. But if nothing ever connects to that slot on the replica and advances the cutoff, then the WAL never gets released to recycling. To fix you just need to shutdown the replica, remove that directory, restart it, (and wait for the next restart point to finish).
Do they need to go to wal_archive folder on the disk just like they go to wal_archive folder on the master node?
No, that is optional not necessary. It is set by archive_mode = always
if you want it to happen.
