Add opacity to chromakey shader in aframe
            Asked 2018-Jun-01 at 06:09

I'm using this shader to chromakey a video. I would like to add opacity to the same video. I've been trying to add the opacity component to the shader but something more must be missing (don't know what).

I've added opacity in the schema:

You would need to add an opacity uniform to the shader in order for it to support what you want.

Try the following code (I haven't tested it) and see if it behaves how you want

            Chroma key in aframe
            Asked 2017-Oct-01 at 22:11

How to chroma key a video in aframe? I want to have a video of a person looking like an hologram in aframe.

I've been looking into this but can't make it work for some reason. Does anyone has any idea of how to chroma key in aframe? (or another solution for what I want to accomplish is very welcome as well).

In order to chroma key with this material one needs to use .mp4 format for the video. Previously I was using .mov and that's why I was just getting a black screen. Converted the video to .mp4 and it works.
